Fatewheel: A Roulette-Inspired D20 Roller

Statut actuel
Fonds récoltés : 302 €
Fatewheel brings the thrill of roulette to your desk. Spin the clear dome and watch the steel ball race around the track before settling into one of twenty numbered pockets.
Keep it on your desk, shelf, or game table. Pick a number, take a spin, or simply enjoy a little moment of chance whenever you like.
I've always loved randomness in games. Back when I played Hearthstone, my favorite decks were often the ones where even I couldn't predict what would happen next.
Roulette captures that same suspense: the ball spins, the outcome is uncertain, and all you can do is watch. I loved that feeling, but never cared much for gambling itself.
So I wondered: could I bring that excitement to something small enough for my desk? As a tabletop gaming fan, the D20 felt like a natural fit. Twenty numbers, a steel ball, and a little wheel of chance. That's how Fatewheel began.
Think of a number from 1 to 20, give it a spin, and see if you called it. You can guess a color too, or simply watch where the ball ends up.
Sometimes that’s the whole game.
Fatewheel is also nice to have around when you want something physical to do for a moment. Spin it while thinking, waiting for something to load, or taking a short break. No app to open and no reason to reach for your phone. Just spin, watch, and move on.
Beneath the roulette-inspired design is a familiar 1–20 layout. Use the numbered result for attacks, saves, initiative, skill checks, random encounters, or your own house rules.
The alternating colors add another way to make a quick guess before you spin — pick a color and see where the ball ends up.
The metal body gives Fatewheel a solid, substantial feel on the desk... while the clear dome keeps the steel ball contained as it moves around the track. It’s compact enough to leave within reach and detailed enough to sit alongside dice, miniatures, and the rest of your tabletop collection.
Fatewheel comes in four finishes. Pick the one that belongs on your desk, and give it a spin whenever the mood hits.
After the campaign ends, you’ll confirm your shipping address, pay shipping, and choose your color through PledgeBox. For multi-pack rewards, you can mix and match colors freely.
Dicelette was created by a group of tabletop enthusiasts who believe that rolling dice is more than just a way to determine numbers — it is a moment of anticipation, excitement, and shared memories.
Inspired by classic tabletop games, RPG adventures, and the charm of mechanical objects, we designed Fatewheel as a new way to experience randomness. By combining the iconic D20 system with a roulette-inspired spinning mechanism, we wanted to create something that is both functional during gameplay and beautiful enough to become a centerpiece on any gaming table.
Our goal is simple: create unique tabletop accessories that bring more interaction, atmosphere, and fun to every game night.
