📆 Fulfillment

Several weeks after the campaign ends you will receive an email through Kickstarter that will confirm your pledge and give an opportunity to add any additional add-ons and verify shipping details.

If you Reserved during our prelaunch campaign, you will receive your bonus add-on item/upgrade during this phase.

🚢 Shipping

We plan to use Kickstarter's pledge manager to manage shipping and fulfillment costs after the campaign. Due to volatility with shipping costs and tariffs, we are not collecting shipping payments and taxes until well after the campaign.

• We are shipping globally with hubs in the US/Canada and UK/EU. Depending on demand, we will be seeking hubs for Australia and other regions. This may decrease final shipping rates.
• Any VAT/Sales tax rates will vary and we cannot provide an estimate until shipping details are collected. Any additional VAT/Sales tax will be provided in the pledge manager before you click 'ship'.

🤝 People & Partners

Channing Shattuck is a designer, perfectionist, dedicated gamer-geek, and experienced ferret-dad. He developed, polished, and operates Ferret Frenzy and was the father to three very modern ferrets; Moose, Newt & Albert. Channing started Ferret Frenzy as a passion project: combining his love of ferrets with the joy of tabletop gaming. The goal behind the game was to create an experience that represented the manic joy and unscrupulous hijinks a business of ferrets regularly get into when left unsupervised in an unguarded room. The constraint was that it must be easy-to-learn and quick-to-play within a range of group sizes. Two-and-a-half years later, Ferret Frenzy is here to bring light-hearted, ferret-themed shenanigans to your game night.

Channing is an award-winning industrial designer, the creative director of Shattuck Creative, and previously had cofounded the beloved community of The Modern Ferret.

Gil Hova has been designing board games since 2000, but he's only been good at it since about 2010. He released several of his own games through his publishing company, including The Networks, Wordsy, and High Rise, before mental health complications forced him to shut down. But it's all good, he now has a hard-to-believe day job in his favorite sport, combat robotics. Gil has also owned a total of 10 ferrets over the past three decades, including his current two bosses, Dottie and Mojo. Gil was delighted to work on Ferret Frenzy, as ferrets are usually shown as vicious or cruel in popular media, and people are always surprised when they find that pet ferrets are sweet and affectionate in real life. These misconceptions have made their way into state laws and health regulations, most notoriously in California and New York City, so Gil is hoping that this game will help turn the tide and help people understand how ferrets really are.

Gil has co-hosted the game design podcast Ludology with Geoff Engelstein, Emma Larkins, Sen-Foong Lim, and Erica Hayes-Bouyouris. He's taught game design at the NYU Game Center. He was a film sound editor in a previous life, most notably working on the first two Pokémon movies. In his little spare time, he listens to and makes weird, loud music.

Aubry Joi (they/them) is a full-time illustrator with a passion for creating cute & colorful critters! They especially love getting to draw funky little guys that make people smile, which was why working on Ferret Frenzy was such a perfect fit. As a past ferret owner, Aubry channeled their love & knowledge of the chaotic fuzzy noodles into their illustrations. It was a true dream project to be able to work alongside the game developers and bring such an exciting concept to life! 

Aubry also has an online shop where they sell their work as stickers, pins & more, co-runs a second online store with their wife called Catmint Studios, and generally enjoys posting about their art and cats across their social media.
