One model at a time.

Hey I'm back! After last years Kickstarter campaign I continued to work on more Undead models... and I wanted to make my first modular set.

So I focused on modular Skeleton Infantry! In the process I made more than 150+ Parts! Enough to build huge Regiments with lots of variety! I made the models with Rank&File army sized games in mind, like Hobgoblin (by Mike Hutchinson, published by Electi studio) but I also use them for skirmishers like Necropolis28 (by Peter Vigors aka @owlshield) or the "city of the damned"... I also made a custom Army list for Hobgoblin in the amazing hobgoblin app by Indie Tabletop Club! See below in the Armylist tab :D 

With this Kickstarter you get the chance to help me create my own undead themed army step by step, and as a reward for the pledge you get either the STLs (presupported & tested) for resin printing or the a boxed set of Physical models to build your own 16 skeleton warriors (printed in resin).

I try to re-create the childhood joy of building from a boxed set!

And Backers of the digital "All in!" pledege will get some awesome cross promo models to accompany this miniature set! KZK minis shared some amazing character models.

For the physical backers Iam cooking something with @macdungeon, lets see where this goes :D 

Starting with the Core Set with 85+ parts via Stretchgoals getting the massive set to 150+. On purpose I set the funding goal and the Strechgoals very low as I really want to make this happen and Iam still unkown... so even I hope for a little skyrocketing I don't expect it.

Funds will be used to cover all the cost of getting a professional miniature maker which is material for the physcials, hardware, software and studio rent, health insurance etc.

I neither have a proper tablet for sculpting nor a computer capable of running the professional software yet, getting a industry standart computer would be the dream goal of this campaign! So thanks for supporting a Indie Miniature Maker :D 

The finsterbones 2 - Modular Skeleton set:

The funds raised with last campaign helped me to rent a little shared studio space... it had a huge impact on the process making this set. I made some modular parts, printed them, tested and builded them, shared them with my Patreons & MMF Tribers to get feedback. Then I made more of the bits I liked, replaced the ones I didn't and so on.

And most important: I painted them and played with them. I wanted to create a set that brings back the Joy of building allot of different models from a boxed set. Back then when I was 17 a "new" skeleton plastic box came out, and I had huuuge fun to build the models... but I wanted more models and more parts and different ones and so on. So years later I try making that myself.

Finding the joyful spark of building modular models and kit-bashing! I decided to go for a ball joint shoulder on the models, increasing the variety of the set, as you can rotate the arms in different angles. I wanted to create a Set with allot of variety to create large regiments (40+ models) with allot of different Skeletons. So I made 10 bodies, 20 if you mirror them etc.  

Also I pushed the set in the direction I liked: rattling skeletons... with bent knees, hanging arms, stumbling forward. I focused on the bare boned style again...  but as one of my patreons requested: modular armour... as some plastic skeletons of the 80s had this feature... So I spent again some time testing... and yes! Now we have modular armour! Breastplates, neckplates! Legs and arms too! Its amazing: Build a heavy Infantry with allot of armour or spread different party across a whole unit: neckplate there... leg piece here etc. Then I went for my favorite helmlets styles: Bat wings and horns! Its the coolest Strechgoal! 

And of course I included two-handed and Ranged weapons: the Bows and the Scyhtes are my favorite!

Also meeting John & Mathilde from VaeVictis Miniaures at Kamping Kitbash in Belgium last year had a huge impact, as John shared his insight on modular sets with me! Thanks, its a huge help, and improved this project allot! :D

The Core set (digital)

Physical-Pledge: Update Late Pledge available in UK, US and EU!!!

The physical will give you a fine selection of parts to build 16 models. To simplifiy production the parts will be randomized but you get

From the Core Set above:

16 bodies (incl. 25mm square bases), 16 weapon arms (incl. spears, swords, axes and maces), 16 shield arms; 8 empty arms, 16+ Skulls 

I will print them in Resin in my studio for you, by now Iam testing "tough" resin, which is giving a bit extra flex to the models, if everything goes well they will come in that "tough" resin, if not in regular ABS-like. I will let you know in the updates.

Via Strechgoals as seen below more parts will get added and the variety of the parts above will get increased!

Update 2nd Wave: allot Strechgoals unlocked!

So you will get way more (including the unlocked strechgoals):

2nd Wave:  I needed to adjust the price and delivery date of the 2nd Wave - sorry... but as a solo creator I need to keep it an a level that i can realize it, I got way more pledges than expected.

finsterbones - undead horde army list for hobgoblin!

I personally got allot of inspiration from playing with my models! So I wrote a army list...

...for Hobgoblin I made a 3000pts starter army list in the hobgoblin app and also I created a collection of the all the models I want in this army  (sooner or later) for you to use to build your own! 

Thanks to the Indie Tabletop Club for establishing this cool feature in the app!

At the Red Lion con I had the privilage of beeing introduced to Hagen Miniatures! long story short: Hagen Miniatures made a metal spincast set of my Necromancer and my Zombies. I still have some sets, so you can grap them during this campaign!

Delivery 

The digital models will be shared via MyMiniFactory when I received the funds (aprox. 14 working days after the KS ends). The digital models come in STL, Presupported (&tested) STL and Lychee Files. 32mm scale at 100% and 28mm at 88%

The Physical Pledge: They will be printed in Resin at my Studio packed and shipped via DHL to your address. By now I can just ship within EU.

I don't expect many phyiscal pledges beeing backed... with the last Campaign it was only one person. So it should be quite fast as well, however if allot of people will back it (which would be awesome) delivery would maybe take a bit longer.

By backing the merchant pledge you'll have a lifetime license to sell 3D printed products using models you receive from this campaign, as long as you follow the terms below. You will gain access to the Merchant-Channel in my Discord, to have a direct and easy way of communicating. Please take a close look at the Free Promo Skeleton provided, before purchasing a License. 

Terms:

You must give credit and in some way provide a link to this campaign or Finsterfey Miniatures MyMiniFactory on listings featuring the models. Please (must) use the provided finsterfey miniatures logo when you display models in your store. Please use also the provided renders.

You may not sell or distribute the digital files in any way.

You may not produce models by any means other than 3D printing.

You may not include these as part of another project or crowdfunding campaign.

You may not use the models or files in any other commercial project.

You must tell me where your prints will be distributed and your shop names. With this it will be easier to distinguished between your products and the ones without license. 

You must keep a minimum a quality of printed Finsterfey Miniatures. Just sell them washed, cured and removed supports.

If I see any of those violated I can revoke the license without a refund. 

There is also the possibilty of getting a Merchant license on a monthly basis via Patreon.
