🔥 Our Story

Fireline was born around a family table.

We are a family living in Spain who loves spending time together playing board games with friends and family. Over the years we've played many of cooperative, strategy, and social deduction games, but we always dreamed of creating one ourselves.

We wanted to build something that was exciting, highly replay-able, and, most importantly, inspired by a real-world challenge.

That challenge became wildfire.

🌲 Why Wildfires?

Living in Spain means living with the constant risk of forest fires.

Every summer, thousands of hectares of forests are threatened by drought, strong winds, and human negligence. Sometimes a single spark is enough to destroy entire natural parks or even reach nearby towns and cities.

Recent disasters around the world—from California to Southern Europe and Australia—show how quickly a wildfire can grow beyond anyone's control.

Fireline isn't about teaching environmental science.

It's about helping players experience just how unpredictable and overwhelming a wildfire can become.

"Fireline is also inspired by my own professional experience. Years ago, I worked on technology aimed at preventing wildfire spread and had the opportunity to collaborate with professionals involved in wildfire management. Those conversations showed me how incredibly complex these disasters are—and inspired some of the mechanics that eventually became part of Fireline."

🎲 Fire Is The Fifth Player

In Fireline, the fire isn't just a game mechanic.

It is your main opponent.

Instead of following a scripted path, the fire spreads through a combination of probability, terrain, weather conditions, and player decisions.

Every game evolves differently.

A strong wind... One unlucky dice roll... One poor decision...

...and suddenly the entire situation changes.

No two games are ever the same.

🤝 Cooperation... or Betrayal?

Working together isn't always enough.

One player secretly becomes the Arsonist.

Their goal isn't simply to start more fires.

Instead, they sabotage the rescue effort by misleading the team, wasting valuable resources, and convincing everyone to make the wrong decisions at exactly the wrong moment.

This hidden-role element creates tension, discussion, and memorable moments around the table.

Our vision goes far beyond a single box.

Fireline is designed as the foundation of a growing game universe.

Future expansions are already planned, including:

🐉 Fantasy World* — protect magical kingdoms from dragons, cursed flames, and ancient magic.

🚀 Science Fiction* — contain fires in futuristic colonies and space environments.

Every expansion will introduce a completely new setting while keeping the core mechanics players already know and love.

Fireline is currently in the prototype stage.

The core mechanics, map design, cards, and gameplay systems have already been developed.

Right now we are playtesting the game with different groups, collecting feedback, balancing the mechanics, and improving the overall player experience.

Our goal isn't simply to publish a game.

Our goal is to make Fireline the best game it can be.
