Présentation de la campagne

This campaign is for the 2026 print run of FlickFleet and its expansions, including the new Box of Xeno Flicks 2, which further expands the two alien species introduced in FlickFleet: Xeno Wars and Box of Xeno Flicks 1 to bring them into parity with the human factions. It adds a raft of all new ships with new abilities to FlickFleet, the space battle dexterity game rated 'Must-Play' by Tabletop Gaming Magazine. New to FlickFleet? Read on! You will be able to pledge for the base game; base game and Xeno Wars - the multiplayer expansion which allows play with up to 4 people; Box of Xeno Flicks 2, with or without Xeno Wars; or even all eight boxes. The other expansions and a FlickFleet playmat will also be available individually as add-ons. And there's a load of crowdfunding only extra ships available in the Pledge Manager later.

What is FlickFleet?

FlickFleet is a tactical 2-player space battle dexterity game in which you flick your ships into position and then flick dice at your opponent's ships to damage their systems and destroy them. It starts out light and fun, but each ship can only perform two actions from the list available on its dashboard each turn, and they have to be different. Once you start taking damage the order in which you activate your ships and the actions you take with them become really important. Do you raise shields? Run for cover? Repair a damaged system? Fight back? Pick two.

It usually plays in about 20 minutes, but if you want a longer game you can build larger fleets with the ships in the base game box (shown below) or get some of the expansions.

The base FlickFleet game supports two players: one playing the Imperium of Earth and another playing The Uprising.

All the FlickFleet boxes are available in two forms: deluxe which are etched with detail and their ship name, or standard which are unetched. Deluxe copies take us three times as long to make, hence the higher price tag.

Box of Xeno Flicks 2

Box of Xeno Flicks 2 will add several all-new ship classes to the alien factions introduced in Xeno Wars. We call them The Hive and The Storm, who knows what they call themselves. The Hive have organic ships that rapidly heal and spew out a seemingly endless stream of parasitic boarding pods that can quickly destroy a ship from the inside out. The Storm's fleet wields incredible firepower, are very manoeuvrable, and their shield generators are more resilient than our own. Though they are generally weaker in defence and tend to swoop in to attack before retreating to a safe distance. The Xeno Wars box includes multiple copies of two ship types of each faction. Box of Xeno Flicks 2 gives both factions a wealth of new ship types to bring to the table and when used in conjunction with Box of Xeno Flicks 1 makes them equivalent to the human factions in terms of ship count and options. Pledge Levels

This campaign uses Gamefound's Stretch Pay. If you pledge for more than £100, you have the option of splitting your payment equally over four months (or just paying in one go).

There are 5 basic pledge levels:

• All Xenos - a copy of the Xeno Wars game, plus the last Box of Xeno Flicks 1 and the new Box of Xeno Flicks 2 expansions
• Xeno Flicks 2 - a copy of the new Box of Xeno Flicks 2 expansion for existing fans of the game
• Base Game - a copy of the FlickFleet game for new fans of the game
• Multiplayer Bundle - a copy of the FlickFleet game and the Xeno Wars expansion, allowing play with up to 4 players.
• All 8 Boxes - the FlickFleet game and all seven expansions, including the new Box of Xeno Flicks 2.

These are available in deluxe (featuring ships etched with their names and detail, plus extra dice, numbered boxes and an optional brief personal inscription on the inside box lid) or standard, with unetched ships.

In addition, the Xeno Flicks 2 pledge level is also available as a print & play package, which includes PDFs of the rulebook and ship dashboards and the files to laser-cut or 3D print all the ship models. This requires access to a laser-cutter or a 3D printer to use. If you want the P&P files for the existing boxes, you can get them from our website.

If you would like to add an individual box onto your pledge, these are available as add-ons.

Add-On Packs

You can add a copy of the existing expansions: Expansion 1: Scenario and Scenery Pack, Box of Flicks 1, Box of Flicks 2, Box of Pirate Flicks and Box of Xeno Flicks 1 to your pledge. For full details of their contents check out the FAQ section.

We also have a FlickFleet playmat that's the perfect size for a game (90cm/3 feet square) with lovely stitched edging for durability and the Big Box might become available again if we unlock the required stretch goal.

During the Pledge Manager you will also be able to add a selection of extras such as spare dice, extra asteroids, nebula and wreckage plus a few extra ships too.

Why Back Now?

Our Boxes of Flicks campaigns are a little different to our game ones. The Box of Flicks starts out as a modest selection of content and then as the campaign proceeds and we unlock stretch goals, more content is added to the box. The four existing Boxes of Flicks are both so full of stuff the lids barely close! If you back during the campaign you will be contributing to unlocking more stretch goals and more content in the box. Plus as an added bonus, backers can vote on which of the extra Xeno Packs they would like to unlock every time we hit a Xeno Pack stretch goal - so you will also be shaping the Box of Xeno Flicks 2 too! In addition, you'll be getting heavily subsidised international shipping and a decent discount on all the boxes.

About Us

Eurydice Games make fast, fun Craft Games. Like Craft Beer. Small runs of unusual things. 

We make the games ourselves in Paul's garage in the UK which means we can turn them around quickly (no delays for slotting into busy factory schedules).

We're not competing for retail shelf space so we can put our games in small boxes and ram them full of content.

Eurydice Games is Jackson Pope and Paul Willcox - the designers of FlickFleet.

Jack and Paul met through gaming and games publishing seventeen years ago, when Paul volunteered to blind-playtest Jack's first game: Border Reivers. Since then we've become best of friends united by a shared love of board games and crafting gaming projects.

We formed Eurydice Games Ltd in 2018 to publish FlickFleet and our first Kickstarter ran from Nov-Dec 2018. Since then we're run a FlickFleet crowdfunding campaign every year since, adding a new expansion each time. Each campaign has been successful, as FlickFleet builds up a fan base under the radar.
