Born on the way to a World Cup game

Fútbol Dash began in 2025, while my daughter and I were traveling to see our favorite club, Paris Saint-Germain, face Real Madrid at the FIFA Club World Cup. We were heading toward a huge match, and I caught myself reaching for my phone again.

What if the excitement of a fútbol match could live in your pocket instead of on your screen?

I wanted us to have something physical to play together: cards to hold, choices to debate and goals to celebrate. Something small enough for a train table, but alive with the momentum and surprise of the real game.

That first idea came home with us, and my sister became a true co-creator. Together, we shaped the rules, built the deck and created the bold comic-book world you see on every card.

A true family affair

My wife and two daughters joined in, along with my sister’s husband and their three boys. Family test matches soon reached grandparents and cousins across the planet, bringing generations together around the same deck.

Since then, the game has been tested over and over. In 2026, Fútbol Dash even traveled to the FIFA World Cup, where we played during France vs. Senegal and Norway vs. Brazil.

What started as a moment between father and daughter became our family’s love letter to fútbol, travel, creativity and time spent together.

You’re one pass away from a shot. Your rival knows it. Do you push forward, slow down their attack, or hold a Gamechanger for the moment it matters most?

Eleven attack points earns you a shot. It does not guarantee a goal.

Inside the game

The current deck contains 93 cards: 73 Action cards and 20 Shot cards. Attack cards build your points, Defense cards disrupt a rival’s attack, and Gamechangers and Referee cards bring surprises to the match.

How to play

1. Start with six cards

Deal six Action cards to each player. Place the remaining Action cards in a draw pile. Arrange the 20 Shot cards face down in a 4-by-5 grid in the middle of the table.

2. Draw. Choose. Play.

On your turn, draw one Action card, then play one card or discard one. Build your attack with an offensive card, reduce a rival’s attack with a defensive card, or play a Gamechanger. Foul and VAR reactions add another layer of rivalry when their rules allow.

3. Reach exactly eleven and take your shot

Build your attack to exactly 11 points. Once any reactions are resolved, choose any face-down Shot card from the middle and reveal it. A Goal earns a goal; other outcomes can turn the moment around. Your attack resets after the resolved shot.

4. Race for the win

Keep building attacks, stopping rivals and taking your chances. Play to three goals to win the match.

• $25 — One Game: one complete copy of Fútbol Dash.
• $40 — Rivalry Pack: two complete copies, one for your table and one to share.
• $200 — Starting Eleven: eleven complete copies for your team, club, friends or family.

All physical copies receive any unlocked box upgrade, including every copy in a bundle. Shipping and applicable taxes are additional. Physical rewards are planned for the United States, Canada and European Union.

Help bring the first production to life

We are raising funds to produce our first manufacturing run of 1,000 games. Our starting production estimate is $10,000. The campaign’s $25,000 funding goal also gives us room to plan for packaging, freight, campaign fees, quality checks and unexpected costs.

Our first priority is to deliver the complete Fútbol Dash game. As support grows, we want to make the experience even better.

Our stretch-goal roadmap

$50,000 — The Dream Box

Upgrade every physical copy to a premium box. We will share the final box design and production specifications before committing to manufacturing.

$100,000 — More Languages. More Players.

Expand Fútbol Dash into additional languages. We will announce the language editions and production details as translation and manufacturing plans are confirmed.

$200,000 — Beyond Soccer

Begin developing Dash games for other sports, with backers helping shape what comes next. This milestone supports future development; a physical copy of another sport is not included in the current rewards.

From campaign to kickoff

After funding, we will confirm quantities and unlocked upgrades, finalize production files, approve samples, manufacture and inspect the games, and organize fulfillment. We will share progress and explain any changes to the delivery schedule.

The current reward estimates are March 2027 for one- and two-game pledges and April 2027 for eleven-game pledges. These remain estimates while production and fulfillment plans are finalized.
