Welcome, and thank you for your support! Whether you’re returning from our first Geung Si deck or discovering it for the first time, we’re glad you’re here.

Geung Si V2 Playing Cards is inspired by the Geung Si (殭屍) of Chinese folklore and the classic Hong Kong horror-comedy films that made these legendary hopping vampires a cultural icon. This project is a tribute to the stories, characters, and atmosphere that made the genre so memorable.

Building on our original Geung Si Playing Cards released in 2020, this new edition explores a larger supernatural world with redesigned court cards, original characters, expanded artwork, and four collectible editions. From wandering spirits and undead nobles to forgotten warriors and Taoist masters, every card brings a new legend from the world of Geung Si to life.

Welcome back to the world of Geung Si!

Both Standard Editions feature gold foil and embossed tuck boxes.

Talisman Edition

The Talisman Edition is the standard version of Geung Si V2, inspired by the traditional yellow talismans used to restrain wandering spirits in Chinese folklore. Featuring a vintage parchment color palette, custom artwork, and fully illustrated court cards, it captures the original atmosphere that defined the Geung Si series.

The Chinese characters featured on the tuck box read:

殭屍: Geung Si (Chinese hopping vampire)

護法: Guardian and Protector

急急律令: A traditional Taoist incantation invoking spiritual authority and protection.

Sword Edition

The Sword Edition presents a darker interpretation of the Geung Si world, featuring a custom colorway inspired by ritual swords, protective charms, and Taoist folklore. With its distinctive green and black palette, it offers a unique alternative to the classic Talisman Edition.

Both Premium Editions feature premium foil-stamped and embossed tuck boxes, paired with a custom foil-stamped die-cut sleeve.

Sealbreaker Purple Edition

The Sealbreaker Purple Edition features a custom die-cut sleeve that reveals the deck through a broken seal motif, symbolising the moment the spirit is set free. The outer sleeve is finished with purple foil accents, while the exclusive purple tuck box inside features holographic foil for a striking reveal. A darker, more mystical interpretation of the Geung Si world.

Slide the tuck box out of the custom die-cut sleeve to reveal the complete design underneath.

Sealbreaker Black Edition

The Sealbreaker Black Edition is the most luxurious version in the collection, featuring a custom die-cut sleeve inspired by Taoist talismans and ritual seals. Finished with black and gold detailing, the sleeve conceals the deck beneath layers of chains and protective symbols. Inside, an exclusive black-and-gold tuck box is revealed, creating a dramatic unsealing experience inspired by the folklore of the Geung Si.

The tuck box slides out from the custom die-cut sleeve, revealing the full design underneath.
