Hallow Kitty?

When 'No Apologies Dice Addiction' began, Hallow Kitty was our first design, and it's still a favorite. As fans of both Halloween AND mischievous kitties, Hallow Kitty was born!

We created a 20-sided die with Halloween in mind. We wanted a kitty on the 20 face, so we added crossbones to make that 20 a BOSS! Since it's usually disappointing to roll a 1, we added the word BOO, with the number 1 as an exclamation mark. The 6 & 9 needed indicators, so we underlined the 6 with cross bones and the 9 with Lives.

We left our branding off (stars above the 20, and as indicators for 6 & 9, creating the belt of the Orion the Hunter constellation) and originally released it as a free file for other dice makers to create their own.

We created the original hand-cast artisan version in 2020, and it's been through several different versions since.

And THAT brings us all to THIS. We've always wanted to make a manufactured version for more gamers to enjoy, and that's what this Kickstarter project is all about.

We had to make a hard choice of a single color, so we chose a deep forest green with golden swirls. Making it glow is just the right thing to do...it's Halloween after all! Luminous orange ink, that shifts like a trick, to a greenish yellow glow...spooktacular magic is in the air!

As a manufactured version, it requires us to add our trademark stars, so we redesigned it. To make it even better, we created an updated version of our classic Hallow Kitty design with a brand new look...meet 'Hallow Kitty, Trick or Treat!'

We redesigned the dice faces and added some superstitious twists too. 3's a Charm, Friday the 13th, Lucky 7 and more! Bold numbers make it easy to read. Words & charms make it really fun to play with!

You loved the Magic D20: Fate & Fortune project, and you made it REAL! Now gamers all over the world are playing with it, and it's only possible because of backers like you! Every pledge gets us closer to bringing this project to life! Help us make it happen!

The reality is, you're not just backing a project, you're funding a dream.

Hallow Kitty, Trick or Treat!

Hallow Kitty zoooooms across the table in a cloud of lightning, tendrils of wicked green swirls crashing into formidable darkness and street lights. Numbers and charms cut through the fog like an attitude, carving bold slices of bright, neon orange...SO bright, it even GLOWWWS in the DARK!!

A rich and gorgeous deep bottle-green Jumbo D20, with golden flecks that shimmer like light through a forest at night. Festive orange ink, that changes to a eerie glowing 'yellow-green' in the dark!

How can you tell if you need more treats, a nap, or if everything needs to be shoved off the table maliciously by accident? Hallow Kitty will give it to ya straight, with a little Cattitude!

Just ask Hallow Kitty a Yes or No question and roll for an answer. Match the number to the durable plastic answer card that fits perfectly in your dice bag, always ready to go! Super fun to roll, and completely addictive, this Kitty is your Purrrfect companion!

What will we do with the funding?

All funds from this Kickstarter will go into producing this project, and making it REAL! There is no profit. We enjoy creating new dice projects to add to ALL of our gaming tables, and want to continue to be able to do it! These dice are expensive to manufacture, and we're trying to keep our funding goal as low as possible to get funded and offset the costs. But hopefully there will be extra stock that can be sold and recoup those extra costs. There are plenty of details that aren't part of this funding such as taxes, tariffs, Kickstarter & Stripe fees, packaging etc. If this project is funded, it's because of YOU, your enthusiasm and your awesome support!

NOT mass-produced in China. If funded, these high quality dice will all be produced by the professionals at Q-Workshop in Poland. All other components proudly made in the USA!

We are No Apologies Dice Addiction, and this is our 4th Kickstarter project! Our goal is to keep building communities through friends and gaming, and to add more fun to ALL of our games!
