Statut actuel
It’s Halloween night.
The costumes are on. The candy bags are open. And every new house brings one irresistible question:
Do you keep going… or run home with what you’ve got?
Halloween is a fast, family-friendly push-your-luck game for 1–6 players, packed with candy, mischievous characters, risky choices, and just enough chaos to make every round memorable.
Guess Higher or Lower, collect as much candy as you can, and know when to go Home before one bad decision costs you everything.
Simple to learn. Fast to play. Very hard to stop at “just one more card.”
In Halloween, every card is another house on your trick-or-treat route.
Each reveal brings more candy… but also more danger.
Will you:
🍬 Push your luck for one more treat?
👻 Risk the next house?
🏠 Go Home and secure your candy?
Everyone chooses at the same time, so there’s no downtime and no waiting for your turn.
The rules take only a couple of minutes to learn but every round quickly turns into a table full of laughter, regret, bluffing, and:
“Okay… just ONE more card.”
Halloween is played over 5 fast rounds.
Reveal the first Character card. Its number becomes the reference for the next prediction.
Knock three times:
TOC! TOC! TOC!
Then choose:
👍 Higher — you think the next number will be higher
👎 Lower — you think it will be lower
🏠 Home — stop pushing your luck and secure your candy
In multiplayer games, everyone chooses at the same time and reveals their choice together.
Reveal the next card.
🍬 If your prediction was right, you stay in the round and the night continues.
❌ If you were wrong, you’re out of the round and lose the candy you hadn’t secured yet.
And then comes the question again…
Higher? Lower? Or is it finally time to go Home?
Show an empty hand to choose Home at the right moment and safely bank your candy.
That’s the heart of Halloween:
How greedy are you willing to be?
Pumpkins can appear in two different ways.
Reveal the same number twice in a row, and the newly revealed card becomes a Pumpkin.
But Pumpkin cards are also hidden directly inside the deck and you never know when one might show up.
The first Pumpkin brings a special twist to the night.
Reveal a second Pumpkin, however, and the round ends immediately.
And Halloween gets more dangerous as the night goes on: before rounds 2–5, two additional Pumpkin cards are shuffled into the deck.
After five rounds, count your secured candy.
The player with the most candy wins!
Help us exceed our goal to unlock game upgrades, new art, and other fun bonuses that will apply to every reward tier!
Shipping is not included in your pledge and will be charged separately after the campaign.
At launch, we will offer shipping only to the United States and Canada.
Please note that these shipping rates are estimates only and may vary depending on your region and on the number and type of add-ons included in your pledge.
The U.S. estimate does not include any applicable import tariffs or duties. The U.S. tariff situation currently appears somewhat more stable, but given the volatile nature of international trade, additional tariffs, fuel surcharges, or other unforeseen logistics costs could still affect the final amount. We will keep backers informed of any significant changes.
Final shipping charges will be calculated after the Kickstarter campaign and closer to fulfillment, once we have the final package weights, destinations, and logistics costs. The exact amount will be displayed in our Pledge Manager before you are charged, so you will be able to review your final shipping cost before making the payment.
Any applicable sales tax, VAT, tariffs, duties, or other required charges will also be calculated and collected through the Pledge Manager where applicable.
In short: the amounts above are our current best estimates while the final shipping cost will be confirmed before payment in the Pledge Manager.
We are working with experienced production and fulfillment partners to manage manufacturing, freight, customs, and final delivery.
Crowdfunding production can sometimes face unexpected delays, but we will keep backers informed throughout the process with regular updates and clear communication.
Our priority is to deliver Halloween in the best possible condition while keeping the process as smooth and transparent as possible.
For this campaign, Halloween will ship only to the United States and Canada.
Keeping fulfillment limited to these two countries allows us to simplify logistics and better control shipping costs for this first release.
We know some international players would also like to join the campaign, and if Halloween performs well, we hope to make the game available in more regions in the future.
Mary Mamontova is a Ukrainian illustrator and the artist behind the world of Halloween. Every character, costume, house, pumpkin and tiny spooky detail you see throughout the game was brought to life through her illustrations.
Mary has been drawing and exploring animation since childhood, always fascinated by characters and illustrated worlds. Today, she loves passing that same sense of wonder on through her work and creating images that can spark young imaginations.
She poured an incredible amount of personality into every character in Halloween, and I couldn’t be happier to have her visual world at the heart of the game.
Hi! I’m Devrim, an independent game designer and publisher based in La Sarraz, Switzerland.
I’m a lifelong game nerd who loves turning ideas into games people can gather around and enjoy. My first published project is Halflings: Best Chef!, and Halloween is the next step in that adventure.
I design and publish my games independently, working with talented artists and partners to turn prototypes into real games. What matters most to me is creating games with personality... Games that are easy to bring to the table and that people genuinely want to play again.
Halloween was designed by Devrim Özsoy and illustrated by Mary Mamontova. Every final illustration in Halloween was drawn by Mary Mamontova. Here’s a glimpse at her process, from the first sketches to the characters you’ll meet in the game.
If this is your first Kickstarter, you might be wondering: why back Halloween here instead of simply buying it later?
Kickstarter is what allows an independent game like Halloween to make the jump from a finished design to a real game on your table. By backing the campaign, you’re helping fund the manufacturing and production of the game and in return, you’ll receive the reward you choose once everything is produced and ready to ship.
The great news is that Halloween is already well along its journey. The game has been designed, tested, illustrated, and developed, and the core experience is in place. The campaign allows me to move into production and, with enough support, make the final game even better through upgrades and stretch goals.
When the campaign ends successfully, Kickstarter will charge the amount of your pledge. Shortly afterward, you’ll receive access to the pledge manager, where you’ll confirm your reward, add any extras if you want them, and provide your shipping information.
Shipping and any applicable taxes will be collected later, closer to fulfillment. Before the games leave for their new homes, you’ll have another opportunity to make sure your delivery details are correct.
So for now, the important part is simple:
Choose your reward, back the campaign, and help bring Halloween to life. 🎃
