HexPack works in three moves. Carry, open, play.

1. Carry. Everything packs inside the closed case. Clip on the strap and take your whole setup wherever the game happens.

2. Open. Set it on the table and open it out. The outer shell stands up as your screen, and the LED edge lights up at the press of a button.

3. Build your station. Snap the magnetic trays, dice tower, and holders wherever you want them. Rearrange any time, because everything is magnetic and there's no fixed layout. Your table, your way.

We're a small studio of gamers and makers who spend as much time behind the screen as in front of it. HexPack was born from our own frustration at the table, and built to be the tool we always wanted. We design, test, and refine everything with real GMs, because we're GMs too.

Is the screen really fully magnetic? Yes. It detaches completely and the panels reconfigure however you like.

How is the LED powered? Two ways: on battery, or plugged in with its cable.

Can I fit my own rulebook and miniatures inside? Yes. The case carries the accessories plus your own gear.

A rigid DM screen that is also its own storage case, with a fully magnetic surface and a soft perimeter light. Designed for people who run games every week, not once a year.

WHAT IT IS

HexPack Master Screen is one object doing four jobs: a rigid screen, a magnetic accessory system, a storage case, and a light source.

The screen folds shut into its own case. Your rulebooks, cards, sheets, notes and accessories stay inside. Setup is opening it. Teardown is closing it.

THE PROBLEM WITH DM SCREENS

Most DM screens do one thing: they block the players’ view. Everything else is still your problem.

Notes and cards end up spread across the table. Initiative gets asked twice a round. The area behind the screen is the darkest part of the table, because the screen itself is casting the shadow. And every accessory you add, trackers, holders, clips, comes from a different maker and doesn’t fit with the others.

The screen hides information. It doesn’t organize it.

RIGID STRUCTURE

The screen is built from eco-leather and fabric over full internal steel plates. The plates do two jobs: they hold the structure rigid, and they make the entire DM-facing side 100% magnetic. Not magnetic strips or hotspots, the whole surface.

FULLY MAGNETIC SURFACE

The entire DM-facing side is a magnetic surface. Accessories attach by being set down. No clips, no slots, no fixed positions.

Rearrange mid-session if your setup isn’t working. Move the initiative tracker to the left because you’re left-handed. Stack three note holders in a row for a combat-heavy night. The screen adapts to how you actually run, not the other way around.

MODULAR ACCESSORIES

Initiative trackers, card and note holders, token and miniature supports. Each attaches anywhere on the surface, and can be moved mid-session in a second.

We’re designing the ecosystem to grow. Accessories released later will work with the screen you back today.

PLAYER-VISIBLE INITIATIVE

The initiative tracker is readable from both sides. Players see turn order without asking. You stop repeating yourself.

It sounds minor. In a four-hour session with three combats, it isn’t.

INTEGRATED CASE

The screen doesn’t sit on top of a box. It closes into one.

It holds up to 5 hardcover 300-page rulebooks. Think five Player’s Handbooks stacked, with room left for dice, cards and accessories.

It goes in a backpack. It travels to the game store. It comes home without you repacking anything.

PERIMETER LED

A diffused LED strip runs the full perimeter of the DM side.

Run it on battery for a cable-free table, or plug it into USB-C for unlimited sessions.

It lights your notes and dice without lighting the players’ faces or washing out the table. It is not RGB and it does not cycle colours. It exists so you can read at a dim table.

WHO SHOULD NOT BACK THIS

If you run a game a few times a year, a cardboard screen is fine and costs a fraction of this.

If you play exclusively online, this does nothing for you.

If you want a screen with rules tables printed on the inside, this isn’t that. The DM side is a magnetic surface, so you’d attach your own reference cards.
