Trekking far beyond the borders of civilization, hunting after a thief who has stolen the property of a powerful wizard, to the isolated puritanical “Colony of Dripwater”. The respite granted from reaching the colony quickly proves itself to be less than fruitful. The dwindling stragglers of this decimated population fuel the horror of their shared reality through the use of a magical deliriant, “Giggle-Tar”. The entire community has become enslaved to the tar, propelling an endless cycle of hyper-psychosis that devolves into ritualistic gang warfare and tribal terror tactics each night. Slammed by an unforgiving wave of comprehension as the source of Dripwater's corruption is revealed, each character must confront primal horrors alien to human understanding, discovering for themselves exactly what life is worth. Finding a thief within this village of nightmarish lunacy proves no easy task, as each turn unearths clues to problems best left buried. The deeper one digs, the more clearly it's revealed that the forsaken community above is only a reflection scratching the surface of the corruption that grows beneath the colony. Will the party be able to recover the vengeful wizard's property, or be reaped within His Heinous Harvest?
A monstrous mega-adventure for 4-8 Player Characters spanning 1st through 4th Level, compatible with Shadowdark RPG & Oldschool Dungeon Crawlers. (Ages 18+)
This “mega-adventure” is designed to be played in various ways to fit the needs of any Game Master, ranging from a “one-shot”, “sandbox”, “campaign”, or by simply using its myriad resources as a supplement book. This single tome contains all the tools necessary to custom-tailor each session on the fly, but is friendly to newer Game Masters as a simple railroad. Beyond the gametable, His Heinous Harvest makes for great inspiration to both the GM and players, with flavorful lore, random roll tables, and a host of flavorful characters!
This book is a truly horrific experience, designed to terrify the reader and gaming table alike, as opposed to another “spooky” or “Halloween” module. The material presented is innovative yet familiar, debuting a high-octane style of adventure that's equally unsettling to read through or unleash upon the party! Perfect for fans of gruesome horror and oldschool gamers looking for a refreshing twist on the classic dungeon-crawling framework.
There's no mistaking that this book will make each gamer feel something genuine, for better or worse. His Heinous Harvest is survival horror, deeply rooted in traditional fantasy, with a splash of wonder, whimsy, and gallows humor. This type of content is not for the faint of heart and is intended for mature audiences. A sturdy backbone will be required from everyone involved.
Not sure if this style of adventure is right for you? Check out my (early access) 20-page Demo scenario "Clock Watcher"! The demo is fully written but is currently lacking interior artwork and cartography. I plan on regularly updating Clock Watcher throughout the Kickstarter campaign until it is fully polished, giving a realistic preview of what you can expect from His Heinous Harvest. This quest starts out with the party stumbling into a home invasion, before transitioning into a gruesome monster hunt! Check it out in the link below!

I remember a time when games were designed to be fun, before the age of endlessly overmonetized expansion content. I remember when creatives weren't afraid of taking risks to bring a cohesive vision to life, without trying to please mass audiences. This is a niche project, created for gamers who just want to be inspired, provided a playground, and given the toolbox to make each experience their own.
To combat this modern mentality growing evermore prevalent within the gaming industry, His Heinous Harvest is a completely self-contained adventure. Inside these 150+ pages spanning a total of 16 chapters, you will find 20+ unique enemy types, 20+ villains & monsters, multiple NPCs with their own plot hooks, 2 Villages, 2 Hexcrawl regions, 6 dungeons, 4 side quests, and 30 special items.
Coupled with the (graciously free) “Shadowdark RPG: Quickstart Guide”, this project contains everything you need for your grimdark RPG journey! The combination of these resources will teach the aspiring Game Master to custom-tailor their own campaigns, experiment with freeform sandbox adventuring, or learn the ropes using pre-planned one-shots intended to be run within a four-hour session!
When starting His Heinous Harvest as a sandbox or campaign, there are several different “Questlines” to choose from, providing alternate goals, focal points, and monsters to slay. Each element within this book was designed to be repurposed and modified, allowing for countless variations on how the adventure could play out, encouraging the Game Master to swap components to further support a specific style of play. His Heinous Harvest has been playtested a dozen times over multiple years, each resulting in wildly different gameplay experiences.

In the depths of the Alaskan wilderness dwells “The Wonkee”, piecing together the world setting of “Bellifallow”, unveiling new taboo territories of the fantasy genre. A project of this magnitude may seem like a lot for one person to take on their shoulders, but I have been training for this moment my entire career. Though this is my debut in writing, I have plenty of experience when it comes to working in the tabletop gaming industry. Having created cover artwork for books published by a wide variety of reputable companies, such as Pacesetter Games, Frog God Games, Skeeter Green Productions, The Independent Publishers Union, and even an adventure designed by the legendary J. Eric Holmes (author of the 1977 Dungeons & Dragons Basic Set). Beyond the RPG industry, I have won awards for game design with Archon Studios in the miniature skirmish gaming scene, and have even had work published in the renowned “Juice” skateboard / punk rock magazine. My work as an illustrator spans widely within tabletop games, having worked alongside countless amazing creators such as Planet X Games, Mudpuppy Games, Stiff Whiskers Press, Diversity & Dragons, The Scrying Dutchman, Silver Bulette, and many more. I have produced trading cards, done gallery work in downtown Denver, Colorado, and am honored to have become a regularly featured special guest of North Texas RPG con. Throughout all these years of experience, I have made many friends and mentors who have been fundamental in training me to tackle this task at hand.
After nearly a decade in development, the world setting of Bellifallow is being unleashed, starting with the release of His Heinous Harvest. While keenly remembering “He who chases two rabbits catches none”, I'm also looking towards the future. This may be the premiere of Bellifallow, but it is only the beginning. Deep in a long-term game plan, I dream of cultivating a brand that reliably delivers the most high-octane adventure books on the market. As a promising young designer dedicating their life's work to the fantasy genre, by helping me fulfill my dreams, I pledge to inspire yours.
I believe in Bellifallow.
Every page of this book is being carefully crafted by the Wonkee, containing well over 100+ unique hand-drawn Illustrations. After the Kickstarter has been fulfilled, softcover and print-on-demand copies of His Heinous Harvest will be available, though without the exciting full-page cover artwork. The book's interior will be printed in black & white, with a full-color cover.
All pledges will be handled using Kickstarter's new integrated Pledge Manager, making this Kickstarter page the single stop for updates, financial processing, shipping details, and more! Print-on-Demand softcover books and all Digital Downloads will be available on DrivethruRPG. DTRPG charges a small amount for shipping softcover books, but allows international orders. Shipping and Handling fees will be calculated and collected when the Kickstarter Pledge Manager is opened, closer to the project's fulfillment date (estimated October - December 2025).
