🌟 What Is Hollowroot Guardians?
Hollowroot Guardians is a lovingly crafted hand-drawn 2D platformer set in the mystical Hollowroot Forest — a once-peaceful land now slowly being consumed by a creeping corruption.
You play as four forest guardians — the Fox, the Bear, the Rabbit, and the Squirrel — each with their own abilities, playstyle, and personality. Together, they must uncover the source of the corruption, save their home, and restore the balance of nature.
The game features:
- 🎨 Lovely hand-drawn art (cutscenes, characters, environments)
- 🦊 Four playable heroes
- 🌿 A story-driven adventure through a sprawling forest
- 🎧 Original AI-assisted soundtrack
- 🎮 Controller-friendly gameplay
- 🧠 Creative enemy AI
- 💡 Character-switching puzzles & hidden lore secrets
Hollowroot Guardians is already in active development — no matter what happens, development continues.
This campaign simply helps us go further, faster.
💚 Why Crowdfunding?
The goal of this Gamefound campaign is not to decide whether Hollowroot Guardians will exist.
It will be made — with or without funding.
This campaign is specifically to raise the necessary costs for:
