Case 01: Halloween Mystery is a hybrid detective experience for 1–6 players, combining 3D-printed puzzles, paper clues and an interactive web companion.

Your investigation moves between the objects in your hands, the documents on your table and the leads on your screen.

How it works

1. Prepare your case. Download the files, 3D-print and assemble your puzzle props, and prepare your paper evidence.
2. Open the investigation. Start the web companion on your phone, tablet or computer.
3. Follow the clues. Examine photographs, compare documents, explore connections and solve hands-on puzzles.
4. Piece together the truth. Work alone or share your discoveries with a team of up to six detectives.

What’s included?

Your Digital Edition includes:

• 3D-printable puzzle files (e.g. including a working mechanical cryptex)
• Printable evidence, photographs, newspaper articles and case materials.
• Access to the interactive web companion.
• Printing, assembly and game setup instructions.

The cryptex is a physical puzzle you print and assemble yourself. The investigation timer runs in the web companion.

No physical items will be shipped. You will need access to a 3D printer, suitable printing materials, a paper printer for the printed clues, and an internet-connected device for the web companion.

The game is in English. Printing and assembly are part of the preparation, so allow time before your planned game night.

No 3D printer? You can still join the investigation.

The companion app will include a 3D preview of the puzzle objects, so a 3D printer won’t be required to play. For the full hands-on experience, we recommend printing them — there’s something special about holding a piece of the mystery in your hands.

At €800 in funding, we plan to unlock an additional story thread with two extra 3D-printable models, included for every backer receiving the base game.
