Hunt & Harvest: Undead for D&D 5e

Hunt & Harvest: Undead is a fully illustrated supplement for D&D 5e, designed with the 2024 rules in mind while remaining compatible with the 2014 rules. Built around a simple idea: defeating a monster should be more than the end of an encounter. Hunt original undead creatures through unique encounters, recover valuable materials from their remains, and forge magic items inspired by the enemies you have overcome.

With over 100 fully illustrated pages planned, plus even more content unlocked through stretch goals, the book transforms original undead creatures into complete Hunts, combining memorable encounters, harvesting, and crafting into a streamlined system that fits naturally into your adventures.

Hunt. Harvest. Craft

Every hunt begins with the creature. Track it down, face the encounter, recover the rare materials left behind, and forge unique magic items using the resources you've gathered. Designed to fit naturally into your adventures, the system is easy to learn, rewarding to use, and adds a meaningful layer of progression without changing the pace of the game.

Original Undead Hunts

The supplement features a collection of original undead creatures, each designed as a complete Hunt with everything needed to create memorable encounters. Every creature includes its own lore, signs of its presence, locations, encounter details, unique harvesting materials, discoveries, and special elements that make every hunt feel different.

From restless spirits to cursed nobles and forgotten horrors, the book includes undead creatures across a wide range of CR, making them suitable for different adventures and campaigns. Each Hunt comes with original artwork, a complete 5e stat block, and unique content to bring these creatures to life at your table.

Craftable Magic Items

Turn the remains of your greatest hunts into powerful magic items. Every item includes its own crafting recipe, allowing adventurers to combine the materials they've gathered to forge unique equipment inspired by the creatures they have faced.

Prefer a more traditional approach? Every item can also be awarded as treasure or introduced by the DM like any other magic item, making the crafting system entirely optional.

Monster & Magic Item Deck

Bring the supplement’s creatures and treasures directly to your table with a complete deck of poker-sized reference cards, featuring every monster and magic item included in the book. This reward includes a digital Print & Play edition, formatted and ready for home printing, as well as an POD at-cost print-on-demand code that allows you to order a professionally printed deck through DriveThruRPG.
*Printing and shipping costs for the print-on-demand deck are not included.

Harvester's Journal Add-on

A themed printable journal designed to help you track your hunts, record harvested materials, organize crafting recipes, and follow your character’s progress from monster hunter to master crafter.

Fulfillment

Digital PDF and print-on-demand: Rewards and add-ons will be fulfilled via DriveThruRPG. Upon official release, you will receive a code to download the PDF. For those who do not have a DriveThruRPG account, they can download the .pdf files through a link that will be sent via private message. Proofs: You should expect a delay between the release of the PDF and the POD codes and physical copies due to the fact that submitting, ordering, and reviewing proofs is a time consuming process.

Estimated Delivery Time: The majority of the supplemental material is already complete. Only a few illustrations remain, and a final review is pending. Additionally, I will be dedicating time to any stretch goals unlocked during the campaign. Given these tasks, I anticipate delivering the PDF in December 2026. Both the printed book and card deck POD's are expected to delivering in February 2027.

Delivery for Shops & Merchants, The Arcane Realms, Familiar Legends, Relics & Runes, and Monsters & Myths Add-ons: All materials from these past projects purchased during the campaign will be delivered together with the Hunt & Harvest PDF when the rewards for this campaign are released.
