Step into INSANIA, an 18+ Roman‑inspired co‑op horror board game that plays like a living work of art. Handcrafted components, tactile minis, and gut‑wrenching choices drag you into a collapsing empire where every decision twists the story and alliances can turn lethal.
We don’t cut corners: every icon, sculpt, model, and illustration is made by credited, real people — no ghost artists, no AI — because we value human talent.

A little game our team played with Jesse!
"You're never quite sure what the game will throw at you next." - Mark Streed, GAMINGTREND Tabletop.
"I was absolutely awestruck. It draws my attention and doesn't let it go." Quackalope in his video comparing Insania with Death May Die and Zombicide.
"This game is messed up in all the best kinds of ways" Desk & Dorks discuss the Fall of Rome and INSANIA.
As Punch Throat Games put it: “I love it. It’s gorgeous, it’s gory, it draws you in.” Featuring “gorgeous, horrifying miniatures” and a setting “in Ancient Rome, mixed with some death metal”, this is a game that proudly “is not PG‑13.”

Each mission brings its own win — and sometimes lose — conditions. Different threats, same brutal payoff.

Move, fight, scavenge, smash mystical barriers — pick three moves and own them.
No dice. Play effort cards to meet difficulties. Link cards to add their values. If your effort pool dries up, the game ends.

Your character’s space can grant bonuses, shaping your tactics — turning placement into power.
Attach item cards to trigger unique blessings and nasty perks for your character.

Split hits across armor, shield, HP — or discard effort to defend. You can even use a teammate as a human shield.
Turn order matters. Some enemies cut the line and ruin your plans — fast.

Tough, filthy choices. They’ll make you queasy — and maybe OP. Moral puke, mechanical payoff.

Hit zero sanity and you gain a permanent mental scar. You won’t lose the game, but you’ll hate your life.

Yep, we know you’ve been eyeing them — those shiny extras that make the madness even sweeter.

Organic Creation

The journey matters as much as the destination. We listen, we adapt, we evolve — because this world is built together. You spoke, we heard: the miniatures will no longer stand on hex bases, but on the round foundations that painters crave. For the paintaholics, those addicted to the smell of paint and the ritual of brush on resin, this change is for you.

No IA.
All art in Insania is ORGANIC, made by humans. The concepts are made by a human. Watercolors are made by a human. 3D modelling is made by humans.

Risks & Challenges

INSANIA is already in an advanced stage of production. The mechanics are locked, the characters are finished, and only a handful of art pieces and design tweaks remain before we move to printing. Our main job now is to to make sure the game is a success, and we can do that with your help
Indie publishing always comes with a few “WTF moments,” and we want to be upfront about them:
- The orange elephant in the Room: the global political climate is unstable. Tariffs, trade wars, random conflicts, energy crises — all of these can shift costs and timelines in ways no publisher can fully control
- Production delays: printers and factories sometimes run late. It happens.
- Shipping hiccups: freight, customs, and logistics can be unpredictable, especially when ports or borders get tangled in politics.
- Small team reality: Sievert Games, LLC is on its very first project. Even tho we are a very dedicated team, we’re learning, adapting, and growing as we go.
The good news? We’re keeping things simple. We’re 100% committed to delivering it as quickly as possible. We’re working with experienced advisors, partners, and manufacturers, and potential delays are already factored into our plan.
The game and its components may evolve — but only to improve content and quality. If you want to be part of our process and chaos that Independent publishing can bring join us on our Discord.
