The rules are simple. You cannot leave these grounds until dawn and the murder has taken place. After that, anyone still alive is free to go. Take your rewards. Take anything else you happen to find. Jack really doesn’t care.

You have the night ahead of you. Eat something. Look around. Get some sleep, if you can. Jack would hate to hear that you were too tired to save yourselves.

But we shouldn’t keep talking. The guests are waiting.

You have been invited to Mourning House by Jack Tallow, a powerful fey lord with a peculiar idea of hospitality.

You have also been tricked.

When dawn comes, the game ends. Jack Tallow will come for one of you, and if you simply wait for morning and face him on his terms, your chances are slim to none.

Fortunately, you have the entire night to stack the odds in your favor.

Jack Tallow's Impending Grim Feast is a Halloween adventure built around exploration, role-playing, investigation, and preparation.

The heroes know a deadly confrontation is coming. What they do not know is what Jack is capable of, where they should face him, what weaknesses he may possess, or what strange fey magic within Mourning House might help them survive.

They have one night to find out.

Explore the manor and its enchanting grounds. Question its strange inhabitants. Make bargains with the fey. Search forgotten rooms. Find magical weapons, blessings of the gods, ancient fey secrets, and whatever else you can use to turn the odds in your favor.

The clock is always ticking. Choose carefully how you spend the night.

Turn the Hunt Around

Everything the heroes accomplish during the night can change what happens at dawn.
