Jukebox. The music game that becomes the party!

JukeBox started with the love of music, humour, and stories.  A few prompts were written on scraps of paper around the kitchen table at a family event and everyone loved it.  We have always loved music, getting together and having fun, and unleashing our imagination and edgy sense of humour - so we combined all of these into JukeBox. The prompts are designed to get people in touch with what they love about music and to share real or made-up stories that can be fanciful, hilarious, wistful, enthralling, nostalgic or risqué.  

We love laughing with family and friends, sharing music and stories - whether these stories are nostalgic, comedic, or fanciful. We want other people to experience the enjoyment of this very easy-to-learn game. JukeBox is not a trivia game - no musical knowledge is necessary. All you need to do is share the music you love or want to hear for the first time, and the stories (real or made up) you link with these songs.  

There are a number of extension packs that explore certain themes, including the "after dark" pack - which inspires more wild, hilarious and risqué answers. 

JukeBox is developed and ready for commercial production.  We will use the funds from Kickstarter for the first production run of JukeBox.  Should we be fortunate to overfund, this will enable us to develop the game with a website, marketing, and extension pack development.

Our day jobs are as psychologists - which has reinforced our knowledge of how music does amazing things to our brains - how music can elicit emotion, creative expression, a sense of history and identity, as well as bring people together.   

JukeBox has now become a family venture - our adult children now all have a role in the promotion and development of this game!
