Le tag « Jeu de plateau » est trop générique : il sera retiré. Jusqu'à 3 tags du site. Le tag STL retire la fiche du catalogue (fichier 3D, pas un jeu). Ensuite plus de modification ici : un mauvais tag se signale.

Imagine this: Cats from Planet Meowthra and dogs from Planet Canidor just finished an amazing vacation on Earth. They board the same cruise ship home, but disaster strikes—they crash into an asteroid! Now the ship is drifting through space, survival kibbles have scattered everywhere, and supplies are running dangerously low.

With supplies running dangerously low, it's an all-out brawl to grab the most kibble and survive the journey home. Will the clever cats outsmart the dogs, or will the courageous canines triumph?

WHO IS IT FOR?

Kibble Kombat is designed for casual players and families, especially kids ages 7 and up, though players of all ages who enjoy fast-paced, strategic board games can join in the fun.

HOW TO PLAY?

Kibble Kombat is played by 2 players, on a 12-by-8 grid board. The board is split into three zones: your damaged spaceship section on one end, your opponent's damaged spaceship section on the other end, and a chaotic 4-by-8 obstacle zone in the middle where all the action happens. The game has 8 cat figurines, 8 dog figurines, 12 role cards ( 6 for cats, 6 for dogs ), 36 kibble tokens of different types, 6 asteroid obstacles, 47 movement cards and 32 obstacle cards.

Setup

Each player picks their team—Cats or Dogs—and lines up 8 figurines on their side of the board. Then, each player draws two role cards and chooses one special character ability to use throughout the game. Finally, we place some initial obstacles in the center zone using obstacle cards. Now you're ready to play!

Turn Structure

On your turn, you do three simple steps:

First, draw a movement card. It might say "Move 1", "Move 2", “Move 3” or sometimes “Move Backwards”.

Second, you pick one of your pets and move it that many spaces—forward or sideways, as indicated on the movement card. Now, this is where things get interesting!

If you land on a square with a kibble, you collect it and place it at your end of the board in that column.

If you land directly on an opponent's pet—head-on collision—you knock them out and steal ALL the kibbles they collected in that column.

But if you land next to an opponent—side-by-side—you get eliminated and lose all your kibbles from that column to your opponent! This creates constant tension—do you risk getting close, or play it safe?

Some pets, in black, have special abilities that apply here. For example, if you're playing Shadowpaw, you can move through obstacles, while others have to go around it. If you're Captain Barksworth, you can move an additional dog during its turn!

Third and final step - If you didn't collect a kibble or eliminate an opponent in the previous step, you draw an obstacle card and place a new kibble on the board in the square shown on the card. There is one card for each square in the obstacle zone - so you never know when & where new kibbles may appear during the game.

Then your turn ends and play passes to your opponent.

Winning the Game

The game ends when one player gets all their surviving pets to the opposite end of the board. Then we score:

5 points for each pet that crossed to the other side
2 points per kibble collected
1 point for each surviving pet that did not cross over

Highest score wins! You have to balance aggressive play with smart survival.

WHAT INSPIRED ME?

As a lifelong pet lover, I’ve always been captivated by the unique bonds we form with our animal companions. Whether someone is a devoted cat person or a proud dog lover, these furry friends often spark passionate conversations, friendly teasing, and endless laughter. When I started brainstorming my next game with my dad, that playful energy between cats and dogs instantly felt like the perfect foundation for a fun, family-friendly showdown.

I love the Kickstarter community and this is my second campaign here. The amazing support I received for my first game, Ultramons, enabled me to launch it and encouraged me to keep designing new games!
