Kibbles' Compendium of Airships and Artifacts for D&D 5e

Kibbles' Compendium of Airships and Artifacts is the third book I've brought to Kickstarter. It has more classes, more crafting, more choices—all with two new systems that can elevate your game to new heights!

This book brings all new content for 5e that stands on its own, but also expands on some of the content of the previous books (such as providing a new way of crafting and new subclasses for my published classes).

The book is compatible (and playtested!) with both D&D 5e 2014 and 5.5 2024 (with conversion notes where applicable).

Subclasses

In addition to the two new classes (and their respective subclasses), there are over 30 subclasses for core 5e classes, as well as a few new subclasses for classic KibblesTasty classes from the previous books such as Inventor (Wingsmith & Plantsmith!), Psion (Warped Mind & Biokinesis!), Occultist (Antiquarian & Possessed!), and Warlord (Spellweaver!).

The new subclasses include a wide array of options, such as the line-breaking Path of the Dreadnought Barbarian, the large-sized weapon-wielding Giantslayer Fighter, the Way of the Demon Monk, the beast-shifting Werestalker Ranger, the arcane power-unleashing Archmage Patron Warlock, and the blood magic-delving Sanguine Scholar Wizard.

Airships

Airships use a special branch of the modular crafting system that extends (but not does require) the Crafting System from Kibbles' Compendium of Craft and Creation (free version of KCCC's crafting here).

Artifacts

As you might imagine, Kibbles' Compendium of Airships and Artifacts also comes with a new type of artifacts—artifacts made by YOU! Artifacts are a new facet of Crafting that rewards characters who want to engage with the system with further customization, allowing them to make a special item that grows with them as they level and continue to invest in it.

Starting from humble origins, these are legends in the making—the origin story of something that ends up eclipsing legendary items! While they don't necessarily offer greater power than other magical items you can make, they have more in-depth customization.

Artifacts in this system are an extension of the new modular crafting system. You can consider Modular Crafting as the 2.0 version of Kibbles' Crafting, but rather than replace it, it supplements it. The original Kibbles' Crafting still covers crafting all existing magic items, while Modular Crafting exists for creating new items based on comprehensive templates and a modifier system.

Shipping

Shipping will be charged separately after the campaign in Backerkit. The books will ship out of three warehouses: one in the US (for US and Canada), one in the UK (for UK, EU, and unlisted regions), and one in Australia (for Australia and New Zealand). Books will ship from the warehouse with the cheapest shipping for your region. Additional warehouses in Canada or EU (Germany) is possible depending on order volume, but unlikely.

I will pay any tariffs of less than 30%. If a tariff is over 30%, I will review if paying it is possible, but tariffs of greater than 30% may result in delays or passing on part of the cost.

I typically partially subsidize shipping, but final shipping cost will be calculated closer to the time of shipping the book, and is based on the weight of the order. As a rough estimate:

• Europe: ~$20
• AU/NZ: ~$25
• Everywhere else: ~$25⁠–50
