The Game Experience

Why back now?

Choose Your Pledge

$89 - DELUXE GAME Pledge Level

$129 - ALL-IN Pledge Level

$249 - Kill Chain Collector's - G.H.O.S.T. Edition

The Collector's Edition includes the G.H.O.S.T. (GHOST Holographic Operations Signal Terminal) Relay — a carbon black console with clear-acrylic holographic windows that brings these transmissions and new missions directly to your table.

A FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND DIGITAL LEGACY EXPERIENCE

The Collector’s Edition transforms KILL CHAIN into an evolving narrative experience with monthly G.H.O.S.T. transmissions shaped by what happens at your table. At the end of each mission, your group reports what happened—who you sided with, whether you succeeded, and the choices you made—and those decisions shape the missions that follow. Your pledge includes at least five years of content: 60 downloadable, replayable digital missions, organized into year-long story arcs with branching storylines.

Your decisions and gameplay determine how the narrative evolves, which challenges emerge, and what your hacker syndicate uncovers next.

Expose corporate conspiracies. Navigate shifting alliances. Influence the war against AI. Dig deep enough into the network, and you may discover that some secrets were never meant to be found.

Watch the Hologram in action.

How To Play

Learn how to play the game in 3 simple steps.

Lead your Syndicate → Build your Toolkit → Exploit the Vulnerability

LEAD YOUR SYNDICATE

Every player chooses a Hacker Syndicate and a Leader, creating a unique playstyle before the first exploit is run.

Your Syndicate defines how you gain resources, deploy workers, build your tableau, and manipulate the network. Your Leader adds another layer of asymmetry with unique abilities, actions, starting resources, and cards.

Unlike most games, you are not just choosing a color.
You are choosing how you break the system.

BUILD YOUR TOOLKIT

Once your syndicate is online, you’ll need the resources, programs, contacts, and hardware to stay ahead of the network.

Send workers into the Dark Web to gather resources and acquire tools. Pressure Corporations for opportunities and openings. Build your syndicate tableau with Mods that make your crew stronger every round.

EXPLOIT THE VULNERABILITY

Every corporation has a weakness. Your job is to find it, weaponize it, and strike before someone else does.

Develop Threats (in the form of Rootkits, Trojans, Botnets, Phish, Ransomware, and DoS attacks) through action economy, worker placement, deck building, and resource management, then deploy them against vulnerable Corporations to earn Reputation.

When the moment is right, you strike.

Reach 15 Reputation to trigger the endgame—but every successful exploit escalates the network.

DISCLAIMER: Kill Chain is a work of fiction. The Lore: the World & People

In the not-so-distant future — the world worships efficiency, greed, and quarterly profit margins like they’re gods. Human life? Cheap. Loyalty? Cheaper. Whether you’re a zealot of the Church of ROI or a humble wage-drone of Sector 7G. Everyone's been jammed into the machine. Step outside the system and you're suddenly “in violation of policy mandates”—usually somewhere between unemployment and an indentured labor camp.

But a few clever misfits found a glitch in the matrix. They slipped the leash, rewrote the rules, and now lead hacker syndicates that live one job away from ruin. Because, surprise — freedom doesn’t pay rent. Hackers need noodles, too.

So they take contracts. The mega-corps are always happy to pay you to sabotage other mega-corps. Espionage, data theft, sabotage — the usual nine-to-five with better lighting and more firewalls. Do you care who’s footing the bill? Of course not. The system ground you down long ago, so if today’s paycheck involves torching someone else’s carefully balanced empire of lies… well, let the clankers clank.

Your syndicate survives one hack, one exploit, one paycheck at a time. Some jobs you feel good about. Some jobs you don’t. Doesn’t matter. Because in in this world, it’s simple: live to hack another day, or get recycled into the machine.

...Accessing Hacker Database...

📂 Hacker Dossier: Beta Neon

Real Name: Tabitha Soran
Known Alias: Beta Neon
Initial Assets: Broken laptop, discount noodles, surprisingly lethal threat software.

Assessment: Poor, underpowered, and annoyingly resourceful. She compensates for lack of processing power by rewriting attacks on the fly — usually turning a minor breach into a major catastrophe. Predictably popular among disaffected youths and anyone who enjoys seeing security teams cry.

Recommendation: constant monitoring; she’s cheap to ignore but expensive to clean up after.

📂 Hacker Dossier: HurtLocker

Real Name: Cassian Hertz
Known Alias: HurtLocker
Initial Assets: Decent processing power, zero liquid funds, one oversized chip on his shoulder.

Assessment: Cassian is the human equivalent of a contract addendum: irritating, persistent, and very expensive if overlooked. He maintains “friends” on the inside, leveraging them for early payouts and endless renegotiations. Considered a mercenary with no loyalty beyond his next invoice.

Recommendation: never sign anything near him without three lawyers present and a hand on your wallet.

📂 Hacker Dossier: CashMoney

Real Name: Nathan Leetz
Known Alias: CashMoney
Initial Assets: Excessive wealth, suspicious crypto portfolios, smug grin.

Assessment: Nathan was born with a silver keyboard in his hands, but his family's fortunes vanished overnight. That instilled a hunger in him. In the last year he pulled off the one hack that legends are made of — he hacked the Gibson. Nobody expected it, some even claim it never happened. But it doesn’t matter, because now he has more money than sense. Specializes in turning profit where others see processing costs. Treats the Dark Web like a personal ATM and laughs all the way to the offshore server farm.

Recommendation: confiscate assets immediately… if you can find them.

📂 Hacker Dossier: Omni_X

Real Name: Felicity X
Known Alias: Omni_X
Initial Assets: Substantial wealth, elite hardware, and the kind of self-confidence usually reserved for governments.

Assessment: Felicity doesn’t hack markets — she steers them. Operating as a bona fide tech oligarch, she bypasses petty temp jobs in favor of reshaping the economy itself. Avoids regulations with the ease of deleting cookies. When she acts, it’s less “illegal activity” and more “unilateral policy decision.”

Recommendation: Pray she never decides you’re in her way.
