Killer Cases was created with one goal in mind—to bring an authentic detective experience straight to your table. Murder at NexaTech isn’t just a game; it’s an intricate mystery waiting to be unraveled. Every document, every clue, and every suspect statement has been carefully crafted to immerse you in the investigation.

Investigate at your own pace, with no timer. The Detective Portal is a standalone website: internet access is needed, but there is no app to download.

HOW TO PLAY

2. Compare witness accounts, follow connections and build your theory.
3. Use the Detective Portal website as part of your investigation.
4. Take notes, discuss your findings and work at your own pace.

You’ll sift through witness reports, corporate emails, crime scene photos, and more as you work to solve the case. Was it a jealous colleague? A calculated cover-up? Or something far more sinister?

PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY

Around 25 case files are already printed. Your support will help fund further printing and materials as needed. I will assemble, check, pack and ship the physical case files myself.

Estimated delivery: December 2026 for Digital Detective and Thank You Shout-Out; January 2027 for Physical Detective and Digital + Physical Detective. The two future-case tiers include NexaTech case files in January 2027, with future-case early access and character appearance estimated for July 2027.

Printing, bonus-item suppliers and order volumes may affect these estimates. I will share progress and any changes through campaign updates.

How It Started

Killer Cases started as a personal challenge. I’ve always loved murder mysteries, detective stories, and puzzles, but I had never actually tried writing one myself. I wanted to see if I could create a compelling mystery from scratch—something that would feel immersive, logical, and satisfying to solve. What began as a creative experiment quickly turned into a full-fledged project, and I realised I had something worth sharing.

I am Connor Thomas, a graphic designer and mystery enthusiast from Wales. I have used my design and marketing background to write the mystery, design its evidence and create case files that invite you to investigate the details.

Murder at NexaTech is the first case in a series I hope to build. For this campaign, my priority is producing and delivering this investigation to backers.
