KINGDOMS TCG | EXPANDED DOMAIN

[This project is inspired by my life long love and obsession with trading card games. I owe a special thanks to the late great Kazuki Takahashi.]

The TCG space needs an indie game that is capable of competing with the big 3. A game that has had its mechanics and gameplay refined to a sharp point through years of physical beta testing. One that has built a community of players and a proven track record. One that feels familiar, but fresh.

KINGDOMS is that TCG! For the first two years that we printed KINGDOMS, we printed it with a different back. That was our closed alpha/beta season in St. John's, Newfoundland. That time in early access allowed us to build our community, make mistakes, and hone in on what makes the game unique. Then we had our first successful crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter in January 2026, & we are here now to re-print the core set and begin development of the next set! Expanded Domain!

We think of KINGDOMS as a fusion between a trading card game & a collectible card game that starts you with the option to easily collect all the cards. We accomplish this by making sure that each set is easily collectible. For example, there are 42 rares to collect in the core set & a booster box of 32 booster packs comes with 96 rares total. This means no insane single card prices, an accessible card pool, and sealed product to draft! Just as Richard Garfield intended! A traditional trading card game, but without the need to gamble!

But don't worry! We know you love to crack packs for chase cards! So every booster pack comes with 1 foil & we've made 2 alternate art variants of every card that only come as foils. These are called Gold/Silver foils! Each foil has a 1 in 4 chance of being either a Gold/Silver foil!
