Introduction

The lily pads are trembling. The dragonflies are circling. Deep within the woodland swamp, four rival houses prepare to battle in a tournament for control of the Pond Table: the legendary location of the Sword in the Stump.

Knights of the Pond Table is a fast-paced abstract strategy game for 2 to 4 players featuring hidden information, tactical movement, and optional action cards. Simple rules allow for a quick start whilst creating opportunity for surprising depth and strategic play, whether competitively or in teams.

Game Rules

You don't need a lengthy scroll to start your quest. The mechanics are intuitive, tactical, and easy to teach in minutes. 

On your turn, choose one creature to MOVE:
The Spiders: Crawl 1 space in any direction.
The Frog Knights: Jump exactly 2 spaces in any direction.
The Dragonfly Guard: Fly 1, 2, or 3 spaces in any direction.

The Capture: Land on a space occupied by a rival to send them to your dungeon. 
Pond Power Cards: Each time your pawn is captured allows you to draw an action card, granting extra abilities that can turn the tide of the tournament.

The End of the Tournament: The game ends immediately when one of the following three conditions is met:
The Skies Clear: All the dragonfly generals have been captured.
A House Falls: One House has no remaining creatures left on the board.
Pond Dominance: One colour occupies three of the five central Pond Table spaces outlined in gold.

Claiming the Title (The Winner): Reaching the end of the tournament is only the first step. The victor is the House that has the most total points combined from captured rivals residing in your dungeon and creatures currently occupying the Pond Table spaces outlined in gold.

Dragonsfly Delivery - Shipping & Fulfillment

Shipping costs (and for some regions, VAT) will be charged after the campaign through the pledge manager.

Final shipping costs may vary depending on pledge weight, destination, local carrier pricing, tariffs, taxes, and global logistics conditions.

EU-friendly shipping is planned for most European backers.
US-friendly shipping is planned through a US-based fulfillment partner.
Australian orders are expected to fall under the current AUD $1000 de minimis threshold for most individual pledges. However, local import rules may change, and larger combined orders may still incur taxes or customs charges depending on local regulations and final pledge totals.

We are currently unable to ship to: Afghanistan, Belarus, Brazil, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Yemen
Additionally, some remote islands, territories, military addresses, and smaller international regions may have limited carrier coverage or require unusually high shipping costs. If fulfillment to your region becomes impossible or significantly more expensive than estimated expensive, we will contact affected backers directly to discuss possible solutions.

Backers may be responsible for local VAT, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or handling charges depending on regional regulations.

Pond Policies - Terms & Conditions

By pledging to this project, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. These are intended to ensure clarity and fairness for all backers.

General Information
Knights of the Pond Table is currently in active development, and final product attributes such as artwork, materials, packaging, component specifications, and gameplay details may change during development and manufacturing. We are committed to delivering the best possible version of the game, and any significant changes will be communicated clearly through campaign updates.

You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information required for fulfillment. This includes completing the pledge manager and confirming your shipping details in a timely manner. If your pledge is not confirmed within 4 weeks of our notification (via email or campaign update), we may consider our fulfillment obligation complete.

If you live in Europe, your pledge is expected to ship from within the EU (with limited exceptions).
If you live in the USA, your pledge is expected to ship from within the USA (with limited exceptions).
If you live in the UK, your pledge is expected to ship from within the USA (with limited exceptions).

Unless otherwise stated on the campaign page, backers are responsible for any customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or local fees required in their region. We cannot offer refunds or reshipments for items returned due to unpaid import charges or customs refusal.

Shipping Terms
All shipping prices shown during the campaign are estimates based on current logistics conditions. While we aim to keep shipping costs stable, prices may change due to circumstances outside our control, including fuel surcharges, global events, tariffs, taxation changes, or carrier adjustments.

Shipping prices during the campaign may be partially subsidized for campaign backers. In the event of late pledges, manual reshipments, returned parcels, failed delivery attempts, or address corrections, standard (unsubsidized) shipping rates may apply.

We are unable to ship to PO Boxes in many regions. If delivery fails due to an incorrect or incomplete address, absent recipient, customs refusal, or unpaid import charges, reshipment (if available) may require additional payment.

If your reward has not arrived within 4 weeks of receiving a shipping notification, please contact us promptly. We may not be able to accommodate claims made after that period.

Collector’s Components & Prototype Variability
Some components shown during the campaign, including prototype renders, 3D printed upgrade pieces, tokens, bags, artwork, and stretch goal content, may differ slightly from the final manufactured product due to production limitations, safety considerations, material availability, or manufacturing refinements.

Prototype photography and renders are intended to represent the intended final experience but may not perfectly reflect final materials, colours, or finishes.

Refunds & Cancellations
You may cancel or adjust your pledge at any time while the crowdfunding campaign is live. Payment is only collected if the campaign successfully funds.

After the campaign ends, cancellations and refunds may still be requested. However, a 15% fee may be deducted to cover platform fees, payment processing costs, administrative costs, and currency conversion losses.

Refunds will no longer be issued once the pledge manager closes, which will be announced in advance through campaign updates. After that point, all pledges are considered final.

Delays & Force Majeure
While we will make every reasonable effort to fulfill rewards within the estimated delivery timeline, delays may occur due to manufacturing, shipping, customs processing, political changes, freight disruptions, supplier shortages, or other unforeseen circumstances outside our control.

By backing this project, you acknowledge that crowdfunding involves inherent risks and timelines may shift during production and fulfillment.
