—description fournie par l’éditeur
Présentation de la campagne
Intro
In Latitude, the world's greatest cartographers have been summoned to create a map of their world, but only those who can most accurately predict the size of each region will earn points. Out-think your rivals with clever placements, and prove yourself the most skilled cartographer of all!
Latitude, designed by Andy Juell, features simple, elegant rules that create a highly tactical and interactive experience. Simple for everyone to learn, but full of strategic depth for everyone to enjoy. It plays in 30 minutes, for 1-5 players, and features stunning original artwork by Rusembell.
How To Play
A fully tested rulebook can be found at this link: Rules for Latitude
We are fortunate to have a full 2-player playthrough provided by Slickerdrips which you can watch here:
Latitude is a tile laying game, where players place tiles and number tokens to build regions, but only score points if the size of the region matches their number token. Latitude is extremely easy to start playing, but hidden within is tons of depth and strategy. The basic rules and turn structure are outlined below:
We also have a fantastic online tutorial where you can learn the game quickly and easily:

Rewards
This is a slimline Kickstarter
No stretch goals, no bundles. Just the game, as intended, ready for your support. All backers will get the game and the micro-expansion.
We've decided against massive all-in bundles in order to avoid bloat and focus on getting you the game as smoothly as possible. So if you choose to back us here's what you will get...
For just £23 you can back to receive one copy of Latitude, a significant discount from the MSRP of £30.
All backers will receive our 'Neutral Promo Tiles' Micro-Expansion for FREE
These Promo Tiles are placed out during setup and act as neutral Number '5' Tokens during the game. They prevent players from playing their own 5 on the same region, whilst still enabling larger regions from the start of the game. These Tiles are a small addition which really add another twist for experienced players to enjoy.
Previews
As well as his earlier video, we are thrilled to have Slickerdrips do a run through of the solo mode in this video:
We also have had a fantastic range of previews and reviews for Latitude, playing the game exactly as it will be delivered to you!

About Us
Radical 8 Games is a tiny independent games publishers operating out of York. We can only make games thanks to the support of our backers, which is why we always reward you with regular honest updates. Our track record of delivering games speaks for itself, even when faced with events such as Covid, last minute fulfillment center closures, and changes in international trade, we always keep you informed and do everything we can to fulfill on time whilst keeping prices low. We can do this because we take pride in our games and service. No money goes to the publisher from the Kickstarter until all games have been received, and we only run one campaign at a time, so all money raised from Latitude will be going towards getting Latitude in your hands.
Designer Andy Juell is never not playtesting, but often unsure where to submit feedback. When he isn't tutoring math/science or engaged in other semiprofessional nerdery, he's usually at least two of: lost down a research rabbit-hole, stumped on a Nikoli-style logic puzzle, or tragicomically attempting to keep up with his 'reading' list across various media.
All artwork for Spokes has been created by Rusembell, who did our artwork for Die of the Dead, Damask, Forks 2nd Edition, Spokes and now Latitude. Her imaginative and beautiful visuals are crucial to giving Latitude the table presence and vibrancy it deserves, and she has done a superb job to help keep everything colour-blind friendly.
All photos by the amazing Mateusz Zajda, aka boardgameshot, and renders by Liam Kirkman.
