Let Me Be Your Thrall: Aftertaste is a sequel to the infamous 2025 game Let Me Be Your Thrall. A sapphic duo TTRPG about a human vying for the love of a mysterious and elusive vampire. Aftertaste takes place right after the first game, now that the Human has been turned, the Vampire must teach her how to get used to her new afterlife. The first game sold out at both PAX Unplugged and GenCon, and was featured as "gayest game on the table" at the IGDN booth. Aftertaste is just as simple, just as sexy, and just as fun. 

How will the newly turned thrall get used to her new afterlife? Can the vampire handle her new role as mentor? Will their relationship survive the pressure of eternity? That's up to you, and your partner, to decide! 

Aftertaste is best experienced as a continuation to your game of Let Me Be Your Thrall, but the game is also designed to be played standalone, so you do not have to have played the first game to enjoy Aftertaste. 

Basic Gameplay

Let Me Be Your Thrall, and its sequel, Aftertaste, both run on the Let Me Be Your [Blank] system. This is a simple storytelling engine that uses standard playing cards to generate prompts to play through. It is completely GM-less, it's just you and your partner getting creative and having fun creating an episodic story.

Each player has a hand of 4 cards. They both play a card and use the sum of the two numbers to play one of the 17 prompts provided by the game. The suits of each card decide your character's mood coming into the scene, based on the mood table. With this basic system you and your partner will explore the messy relationship of a vampire and the one who turned her. 

The Hunter Becomes the Hunted

A standard deck of cards holds more than just numbers. You're bound to draw a few face cards over the course of your game. In Let Me Be Your Thrall: Aftertaste face cards are a chance for you and your partner to step out of your roles as Vampire and Thrall for a moment, and instead play as the Huntress and the Underling, two vampire hunters who are hot on the bloody trail of the two vampires. Either player can play a face card at any time to initiate a Hunter scene. The card determines the prompt, and the suit determines the mood of the scene, as well as the hunters' distance from the vampires.

Aces & Eternity

When an ace card is drawn it will be played right away. Aces signify the passage of time, and they are also a significant next step in your relationship. Aces can change the status quo of your game, shake things up, or simply move things forward. The aces in Aftetaste have different prompts depending on which suit you play. Each prompt follows a similar theme, but they are all unique in their own way. When the last ace is drawn, the game will come to an end. Flirt, play, and love with the time you have. 

Finished and Ready To Print

Let Me Be Your Thrall: Aftertaste is a finished product. That means that printing and shipping can start as soon as the campaign is over. Your pledges are going to the cost of getting the physical books actually printed. This is the same for Let Me Be Your Thrall pledges. There is no risk that the project will not be finished, all the risk is in shipping. This also means PDFs can be delivered immediately as soon as the campaign ends. 

The Book

Let Me Be Your Thrall: Aftertaste is a 44 page booklet with monochrome color, and fully illustrated doodles. It will be saddle stitched with staples. the pages will be thick 100lb uncoated paper.

Shipping & Fulfillment 

Products will begin printing as soon as the campaign ends. Printing can take anywhere between 1-3 weeks, then I will have to wait a few days for them to be delivered to me. I will begin packing and shipping out books as soon as I get them. Because I am doing this by hand, packing and shipping times may vary depending on how many orders I must fulfill. Once packages are shipped they tend to take about 7 business days for US residents, probably longer for anyone outside the US. I expect to have all orders fulfilled by the end of November, but that may vary depending on the amount of orders I must fulfill. 

The sticker sheets come from a different printer than the books, so if you get a sticker add on, your package may take longer to ship out depending on how fast I get the stickers delivered to me. The stickers can take up to a month to actually ship, so sticker orders may be delayed. 

Shipping will be calculated after the campaign ends and can vary depending on your country.
