The Living Dungeon™ uses a 32mm scale grid, giving your miniatures the space they deserve! Many terrain systems feel cramped once the action begins, with larger miniatures constantly bumping into walls or each other. By choosing this scale, we ensure that even more heroic-sized miniatures can move naturally through the dungeon, while keeping the action clear and easy for players to follow.

We’ve also intentionally designed our maps to be larger than most competing terrain systems. The goal is simple: better visibility, a stronger presence on the table, and a real wow factor when the dungeon comes to life during play.

In practical terms, our standard 5-foot square (as used in many fantasy RPGs) measures 4cm, or 1.57 inches, per side. It's roughly twice the size of some competing systems. The result is a map that feels spacious, cinematic and truly epic!

Many stories have reached us of pledges arriving in cardboard boxes filled to the brim with grey piles of sprues that require weeks of assembly and cleaning. We've heard your plea. At Perpetual 3Designs, we deliver products that are thoroughly prepared, cleaned, and ready to play right out of the box.

All the magnets, pins, and other tiny pieces are pre-assembled by us and require no extra work on your end. Our pledges are available painted if you truly want to focus on the gaming experience and aren't interested in painting yourself. We use high-quality paints and varnishes to make sure the durability of the paint job holds through your play sessions, no matter how rough they might get!

During this Kickstarter Campaign, The Abandoned Keep will be available at approximately 20-30% below its future MSRP. This is our way of rewarding our early supporters who helped bring this project to life.

Due to production, distribution, and retail margins, it's very unlikely we'll be able to offer prices this low again once the product reaches stores. If you're interested in acquiring The Living Dungeon™ products, backing the project now will be the most affordable way to do so.

Note: We estimate to deliver by February 2027. However, this is taking into account a relatively high amount of orders. If the campaign only has a moderate amount of following, it is possible that we are able to deliver earlier.
