LUCENT PRO & LUCENT GO | Professional Art + Hobby Lighting

The LUCENT Art + Hobby Light

Great Work Starts With Great Light

Let's face it: if you can't see what you're doing, it's pretty hard to do your best work. Whether you're painting a miniature, tying a fly, sewing, illustrating, crafting, tattooing, gaming, or diving into your latest obsession, good light makes a difference.

That's why we created the LUCENT. We wanted a light built by hobbyists, for hobbyists—bright, versatile, color-accurate and designed to fit your needs not the other way around. Oh, and did we mention reasonably priced!

With five adjustable LED panels, powerful illumination, and near-perfect 95+ CRI color accuracy, the LUCENT delivers bright, color-accurate light that helps you see every detail without compromise.

LUCENT provides:

• 95+ CRI color accuracy
• Five adjustable LED panels
• Flicker-free illumination
• Reduced shadows
• Adjustable brightness
• Adjustable color temperature
• Flexible positioning
• Professional-quality illumination

Whether you're working in a dedicated studio, at your kitchen table, in a classroom, or at a convention, the LUCENT is designed to adapt to your workspace.

The New PRO + GO

We made the original LUCENT because we wanted a better light for our own hobby desks. Then thousands of you started using it—and telling us what you loved, and what you wished it could do.

So we went back to the drawing board. The result is LUCENT PRO and LUCENT GO: two new lights built from everything we've learned, with PRO giving you more power and reach, and GO giving you the LUCENT experience in a smaller, more portable package.

LUCENT PRO is the powerhouse, with 1600+ lumens, a wider LED span, longer armatures, and additional light-head adjustment.

LUCENT GO packs 1200+ lumens into a lighter, more compact design that's easy to take from your desk to your next convention, class, or paint night.

Both models share the LUCENT DNA: 95+ CRI, five adjustable LED panels, flicker-free lighting, reduced shadows, adjustable brightness and color temperature, redesigned controls, a removable 2" metal clamp, post-mounting compatibility, and upgraded hinges.

LUCENT PRO

Professional Lighting. However You Need It.

LUCENT PRO — Maximum Power. Maximum Flexibility.
For larger workspaces, bigger projects, and creators who want maximum coverage, reach, and adjustment.

1600+ lumens • Wider LED span • Longer armatures • Additional light-head adjustment

Sometimes you just want more light. More coverage. More reach. More ways to put the light exactly where you want it.

That's what LUCENT PRO is built for. Longer armatures and a wider LED span give you more coverage across a larger workspace, while a new up/down adjustment at the light head gives you even more control over where the light lands.

For big projects, big desks, and people who don't believe in doing things halfway.

LUCENT GO

Professional Lighting. Wherever You Need It.

LUCENT GO — Professional Lighting. Maximum Portability.
For smaller workspaces, smaller footprints, and creators who want to take their LUCENT wherever the hobby takes them.

1200+ lumens • Compact footprint • Lighter design • Easy to transport

Not everyone has a giant hobby desk—and sometimes your hobby has to leave the house.

LUCENT GO gives you the bright, accurate light you expect from LUCENT in a smaller, lighter package. It's a great fit for compact workspaces, and it's easy to grab when you're heading to a convention, class, paint night, workshop, or wherever your next project takes you.

Small footprint. Serious light. Take it wherever you make.

True Color. Better Light.

Don't Just Take Our Word for It. See the Difference.

You don't need another light that simply makes your desk brighter. You need a light that helps you see what you're actually doing.

LUCENT is designed to put bright, accurate light where it matters—helping reveal tiny details, reduce distracting shadows, and show colors more faithfully. Because when you're spending hours on a project, fighting your lighting shouldn't be part of the hobby.

Better Detail — See the tiny stuff.

Fewer Shadows — Five adjustable LED panels help spread the light across your workspace.

Better Color — 95+ CRI helps you see colors more accurately.

More Coverage — Aim the light where you're actually working.

See Your Work in True, Accurate Light

You've spent enough time choosing the perfect color. You shouldn't have to wonder if your lighting is lying to you.

LUCENT's 95+ CRI lighting helps you see paints, fabrics, finishes, materials, and artwork more accurately. And when the environment changes, you can change the light with it—adjusting both brightness and color temperature to get things just right.

See the Difference

Great lighting isn't just about making a workspace brighter. It's about making it easier to see what you're actually working on. LUCENT is designed to help reveal tiny details, reduce distracting shadows, and provide more accurate color while giving you the flexibility to direct light where you need it.

Compared with ordinary lighting, LUCENT's five adjustable LED panels provide more control over your workspace illumination, while 95+ CRI lighting helps you see colors more accurately. Whether you're painting a tiny miniature, working with fabric, or simply trying to see the details of your latest project, better light can make a noticeable difference.

Better Detail — See tiny details that can be difficult to see under ordinary lighting.

Fewer Shadows — Five adjustable LED panels help provide more even illumination across your workspace.

Better Color — 95+ CRI lighting helps you see colors more accurately.

More Coverage — Position and adjust the light to illuminate the area where you're actually working.

Unparalleled Versatility

Light Where You Need It.

Every workspace is different. Every project is different. And somehow, the thing you're working on always ends up being in exactly the wrong spot for your light.

LUCENT gives you the flexibility to fix that. Tilt it, rotate it, raise it, lower it, adjust the LED panels, change the brightness, or change the color temperature until the light is right where you want it.

You're not adapting your workspace to the light. The light adapts to you.

LUCENT is designed to adapt to the way you work.

Built. Tested. In Production.

The LUCENT PRO and LUCENT GO aren't just concepts. We've spent years developing LUCENT, listening to creators, testing prototypes and production samples, and refining the new designs.

The first production batch is already complete and on its way to our warehouse.

Our Story

Game Envy started in a basement with a love of games, painting, making things, and generally finding ways to turn hobbies into even more hobbies. Since 2017, we've launched and fulfilled six other Kickstarter campaigns, brought more than 80 products to market and partnered with companies

The original LUCENT launched in 2023 and after selling out FIVE TIMES it quickly became the preferred way to light up art and hobby spaces around the world. After years of listening to feedback, we began designing an upgraded version—and that one version eventually became two to better light up all types of work areas.
