GAMEPLAY
About
Master of Fables is an incredible game for kids aged 5-10, but even if you're a bit older, you'll still find something to captivate you. If you've got a creative idea for an exciting adventure and you're eager to lead, then you can become the leader, the Fable Master!
It could be a parent, caregiver, uncle, sister, classmate, or teacher — anyone with a passion for leading. Read the rulebook, assemble a team, and embark on an adventure!
The Land of Heroes
The world in which we set out on our adventure is called the Land of Heroes, and it's a magical place where we intertwine familiar fairy tales and fantasy elements, such as those from The Hobbit, Harry Potter, and Shrek. It's so exciting to see popular fairy tales told a little differently here. Players, being participants, change the course of the plot, making every adventure unique and full of possibilities.
How many critters can you befriend?
Young Heroes
The young heroes have a ton of cool professions to choose from! They can be a Wizard, Knight, Wanderer, Healer, Forest Keeper, or Singer. But if you're feeling adventurous, why not go for something totally unique? You can become a mermaid, a ninja princess, or anything else you can dream up! Use your imagination and the rulebook as your guide to create your own hero.
Rules of the game
When heroes encounter creatures or monsters in the game, they can do anything but attack. One way to "defeat" a monster is to befriend it! It doesn't matter if it's an evil witch, a bloodthirsty crocodile, a scary skeleton, or a wild beast. Characters can talk to any character in the game (big insects, trees, or magical grass, too). To determine if we have successfully befriended an opponent, we perform a Befriending Check. Each Ability has a value of one die at the beginning. When testing Befriending, we combine the number of dice we have in Trait with the Ability dice. That is, if we have one die of Joking, and two dice of Mind, we roll a total of three dice.

The Land of Heroes is home to an infinite number of magical creatures. In our bestiary, you will find dozens of monsters with their own problems waiting to be solved!
Magic Items Cards
Can fantastic adventures happen without treasure and magical objects? Of course not! In Master of Fables the heroes can get as many as 100 different items, which are very useful during the adventures!
