Présentation de la campagne
What is Master of Lore
Master of Lore is a solo role-playing game guided by an AI game master that feels almost human.
It listens to what you say, reacts to your choices, and builds a story around you: every decision remembered, every consequence woven into the next chapter.
No pre-written quests.
No limits.
Just you, your imagination, and a world that remembers.
What makes Master of Lore different
Unlike most AI storytelling apps, Master of Lore is not a chatbot improvising as it goes.
It’s a full RPG system (built by real role-players, artists, and writers) that ensures persistence, coherence, and challenge over time.
• Persistent worlds: every action, every NPC, every consequence is remembered.
• True structure: each world is based on a complete narrative bible written by experienced designers.
• A real system: dice rolls, tension, skill checks, and level progression make every adventure unpredictable.
• Human creativity: concept art, world design, and music are created by a real team of storytellers.
• Immersive interface: not just a text window, but a beautiful, ergonomic interface with dynamic images, music, sound, and quick access to your abilities and to the Loremaster for seamless play.
• Authentic RPG feel: the Loremaster doesn’t flatter you — it challenges you, just like a human GM would.
Master of Lore feels like a real tabletop RPG campaign — except you can play it alone, whenever you want.
⸻
How it plays
Describe what you want to do.
The Loremaster — your AI game master — reacts, narrates, and challenges you.
Every story unfolds through dialogue.
Your words are your dice. Your imagination drives the world.
⸻
Character Creation
It takes about two minutes to create your character.
You simply answer a few questions — about your past, your family, your ambitions, your fears.
From that, Loremaster automatically builds your character sheet: abilities, allies, enemies, possessions, and personality traits.
You can open it anytime during your adventure to see how you’ve evolved.
⸻
How Master of Lore’s Plans and Turns Work
Every action in Master of Lore is counted as a turn: one message you send to the Loremaster, and its answer in return. All players automatically receive a free monthly allowance of 20 turns, refreshed at the start of each new month. A Starter subscription (no commitment, cancel anytime) provides 100 turns per month, while the Ultimate subscription offers 240 turns per month.
When you purchase additional turn packs, these paid turns are only used once your monthly allowance is fully consumed — and they never expire. You can accumulate multiple turn packs over time and use them whenever you need them.
⸻
Try It Now — It’s Free
You can play Master of Lore right now — completely free.
Start your journey with 20 free turns, no download required.
Your story begins the moment you write your first words.
⸻
Ability System
Your character’s skills are organized into Abilities, each containing several related skills.
Abilities define what your character can attempt — from Fighting and Thieving to Spellcasting, Knowledge, or Performance.
Each skill has a color-coded level:
🟤 Desperate — untrained, risky attempts
🔴 Unskilled — very limited chance of success
🟡 Trained — basic practice
🔵 Skilled — competent and reliable
🟣 Experienced — confident mastery
🟢 Talented — gifted or instinctive
⚫ Master / Heroic / Legendary — rare excellence
🟢 Supernatural — powers beyond mortal limits
🌈 Secret Power — unique abilities tied to story events
Some skills are learned naturally through play, others through choices, discoveries, or mentors encountered in your journey.
Every success or failure shapes who you become.
⸻
Dice Rolls & Consequences
When success isn’t certain, Loremaster asks for a dice roll.
You can refuse, try another approach, or accept the challenge.
• A success pushes the story forward.
• A failure creates complications — and lasting consequences.
• You may use one reroll per test, but beware: each reroll increases tension.
⸻
The Tension System
Tension is the heartbeat of your story.
It rises when you fail a roll, when danger grows, or when you push your luck too far.
It drops when you rest, heal, eat, or achieve a great success.
When tension peaks, the Loremaster may trigger unexpected events — misfortune, revelation, or even doom.
Balance risk and rest. Choose your moments wisely.
⸻
System Overview
• Abilities determine what you can attempt.
• Dice rolls decide your success or failure.
• Tension governs the rhythm of your story — rising with danger, easing with peace.
The result: a living narrative that plays like a real tabletop session — dynamic, unpredictable, and deeply personal.
⸻
Missions and Progression
Every adventure in Master of Lore begins with a mission — a narrative arc tailored to your character’s background and choices. Once you complete it, the Loremaster will propose a new one, directly shaped by your previous actions.
Each mission builds upon the last, forming a true campaign where the stakes rise with every success — and every failure remembered.
At the end of a mission, your character grows. You’ll be able to level up one of your Abilities, raising its color tier to the next level. This improvement increases your chances of success in future rolls for that skill.
With dozens of abilities and multiple mastery levels, you can customize your character’s evolution exactly as you wish, crafting a hero — or an anti-hero — uniquely your own.
⸻
Gameplay Example
Player: I wait behind the crumbled wall until the patrol passes… then I strike from the shadows.
Ability Used: Ambush (Fighting)
Loremaster: Roll 36+ to succeed.
Player: Rolls 23 → Failure.
The guard hears your footstep at the last second, twisting aside as your blade grazes his arm. He shouts for help.
Reroll?
Player: Rolls again — 31 → Failure.
The guard slams his torch into your chest. You stumble back, breathless. Tension +2.
This is how it feels — spontaneous, reactive, alive.
⸻
Worlds of Lore
Each world in Master of Lore offers a complete universe — with its own tone, laws, and storytelling style.
LOOM – WOVEN WORLDS
Every choice leaves a thread behind.
A world in perpetual creation, woven by the mysterious Loom of Creation — a cosmic engine shaping lands, seas, and peoples.
Closer to the Loom, life and death blur into a restless cycle of rebirth. Farther away, ancient empires grow weary and proud, clinging to fading power.
At the heart of this living fabric lies Kesi, a vast and luminous city port now caught in turmoil. Once a beacon of art and beauty, it has been invaded by the Weavers — followers of Weave-Finder General Stearne, leader of the enigmatic Bombyx. His vision: to unite the world through the magic of Weaving, a power capable of altering fate itself.
But rebellion stirs. Across the continent, those who resist have discovered a forbidden counter-art — Cutting, a sorcery that can sever the threads of destiny and free minds from Stearne’s control.
In this fractured world, you embody heroes from distant cultures — humans, yrch, and more — each struggling to shape their destiny amid an epic war of ideals. Whether bound to the light of the Loom or born in the fires below, every choice will decide what thread survives in the great weave of creation.
DREAMS OF THE OLD ONES
Sanity is the price of truth.
Set in the 1920s, Dreams of the Old Ones begins in a world that looks much like our own — but beneath its surface, unseen forces twist reality. Ancient beings known as the Great Old Ones sleep beneath the oceans and beyond the stars, reaching into mortal minds through dreams, whispers, and madness. Their influence spreads through secret cults, forbidden tomes, and rituals that bend the fabric of sanity itself.

You awaken in a fragile age — an era of jazz and industry still haunted by the Great War. While cities like Arkham, Innsmouth, and Dunwich thrive on modern progress, they are also riddled with decay, corruption, and things best left unnamed. In quiet parlors and coastal caves, cults work to awaken their sleeping gods, while scholars at Miskatonic University desperately try to contain what should never have been found.
As an investigator, you follow a trail of murders, missing persons, and impossible events — uncovering pieces of a truth too vast for the human mind. As a cultist, you may serve those same ancient powers, trading your humanity for knowledge, power, or immortality.
Every discovery deepens the mystery. Every forbidden ritual carries a price. And as your Tension rises — the measure of your mind’s unraveling — you begin to see beyond the veil of reason, into a cosmos that does not care whether you live or die.

In Dreams of the Old Ones, you are never the hero — only a fragile mind staring into the abyss, hoping the abyss doesn’t stare back.
KING KONG — SKULL ISLAND
We came to capture a legend — and unleashed one instead.
Set in the 1930s, King Kong — Skull Island begins as your expedition crosses storm-torn seas in search of discovery, fame, or fortune. Beyond the fog lies a land lost to time — a place of towering cliffs, primeval jungles, and a skull-shaped mountain that watches over everything. Dinosaurs still roam its valleys. The air trembles with the roars of unseen titans. And deep within the island’s heart, something ancient stirs — the giant ape-god known as Kong.
When you arrive on the island’s black-sand shores, awe quickly gives way to fear. The jungle teems with colossal predators, ruins whisper of a vanished civilization, and an immense wooden wall divides the native village from the wild interior. The islanders worship Kong as both guardian and wrath — a being who keeps even greater evils at bay. They chant beneath totems carved in his likeness, their rituals echoing through the mist.
As you explore, your small band faces the living prehistory of the world: thunder-lizards that stalk the swamps, insects the size of wolves, storms that flatten entire forests. Each choice matters — whether you exploit the island for gain or respect its savage balance. Earn the tribe’s trust, and they may share the hidden paths and legends that keep them alive. Defy them, and the island itself will rise against you.
Eventually, the story may reach New York City, where Kong’s capture brings nature’s fury into the heart of civilization. But before that moment, every survivor must endure the unforgiving wilds of Skull Island — a place where beauty and terror are one, and every heartbeat feels like a borrowed moment.
Here, survival is discovery. Every encounter tells a story. And the greatest monster of all may not be Kong, but mankind’s own ambition.
