Metropolis 2.0 is more than a single standalone kit. It is a complete toolbox built upon Monster Fight Club's innovative new GridLOCK™ system. Each kit can be assembled and reassembled endlessly into multiple configurations, allowing you to build various distinct structures from a singular kit. Not only that, but each kit combines with all the other kits, providing you with more pieces to create your own, unique sprawling metropolis.

Metropolis 2.0 kits are ready to assemble and play right out of the box. No glue is required. They feature bright, fully printed, durable wall panels, striking colored containers, with neutral concrete greys and black steel connector pieces that allow you to assemble a visually beautiful city – no paint required!   

Watch "Monster in Charge" and master city builder, John Kovaleski, assemble a massive urban table in just about 3 minutes thanks to the wonders of movie magic.

Metropolis 2.0 is launching with eight base kits that are all designed to interact and allow you to build your ultimate urban game table.

The Foundation Building Kits are our baseline buildings. This building kit can be assembled as one 220x140mm building and a 140x140mm building, or the stories can be stacked to create a single two-story building. Add additional sets to stack your buildings taller!

 

 Our new design features a sturdy plastic, reinforced foundation floor and roof frames. Each roof frame is designed with 4 or 6 removable square inserts. Hex grid inserts are included, but can be swapped with barrier, stairs, ladders, and other inserts from any kit in the range. The wall panels feature all-new graphics that have been given an extra coat of weathering, graffiti, wires, and lights to bring your city to life. 

This kit has walls standing 4 clips high (~93.3mm). (The "clips" refer to the building's height based on the number of corner clips required to build a single corner.)

Just like the previous building kit, but with walls that stand 3 clips high (or 70mm). These buildings can be combined with the other Metropolis 2.0 kits in a variety of ways.

The Block Tower is an imposing structure with plenty of height and cover for your models. Built of sturdy blocks that are perfect for representing concrete support structures, this kit can add some serious industrial vibes to your layout. 

 

 Each block snaps into the standard grids, making it a great kit to get extra pieces to expand and add height to your other structures. The black central panels in the blocks can be removed, altering the visual appearance of the structure. They also provide excellent places to put posters, graffiti, or object markings that can easily be swapped to customize the look for specific games and settings. In addition to the blocks, this kit includes numerous barrier inserts that provide cover, as well as stairs and ladders.

No metropolis is complete without some proper dystopian living arrangements! The Hab Compound includes four hab containers, one standard container, as well as floor grids, inserts, and stairs to create three stories of commerce, habitation, and recreation. 

 

 Container Outpost

This kit includes our 10ft Container Set as well as enough parts to build your gang a sturdy multilevel outpost featuring lots of cover and lots of containers to move in and out of.

 

Small Square Buildings

Four stories at an affordable price! These buildings share the design from current Metropolis line (and first Kickstarter), but these 140x140mm buildings feature a sturdy 3mm greyboard like our ruins from our Combat Zone game allowing us to bring these to you at a lower price. 

Featuring all new graphics, these buildings seamlessly drop into your new cityscape and can be mixed and matched with the parts from the Foundation Building sets to bring some extra elevation to your structures. This set can be built as one four-story building or two two-story buildings. 

Just like the Small Square Building kit, but with a longer 220x140mm foot print. 

    

 

 

 

 

Never fear, Monster Scenery: Metropolis 2.0 is coming to retail. 

Retailers will have access to the Block Captain, Slum Lord, Metro Mayor, and Corpo Tycoon pledges at a discount off of the MSRP (not the pledge price). There is a $500 minimum order requirement. (The $100 pledge amount will be applied to your minimum order.) All pledges will include applicable stretch goals. Stretch goals will not be in retail packaging.
