Morphiblock est un jeu de logique spatiale en 3D compétitif inspiré des cinq éléments chinois (Bois, Feu, Terre, Métal et Eau). Les joueurs construisent ensemble une structure tridimensionnelle tout en s'affrontant pour remporter le plus de points possible. Chaque cube comporte des symboles représentant les cinq éléments chinois. À mesure que les cubes sont placés dans la structure en cours de construction, les éléments voisins créent des interactions positives ou négatives, générant des points en fonction des effets constructifs et destructeurs des cinq éléments. Les joueurs doivent évaluer en permanence l’évolution de la structure, à la recherche de placements judicieux et d’opportunités de marquer des points. En plus des placements normaux, les joueurs peuvent utiliser des actions spéciales de « placement plus » et de « placement moins », tandis que terminer des niveaux et des bandes verticales rapporte des points supplémentaires. Comme tous les joueurs construisent la même structure, chaque coup modifie le paysage stratégique et crée de nouvelles opportunités. WHAT IS MORPHIBLOCK?

MORPHIBLOCK is a competitive logical and spatial strategy game for 2–6 players, inspired by the Chinese Five Elements.

Players take turns placing cubes while building a shared 3D block together. Every cube changes the structure, while special placements, completed rows, and completed levels help you score points. And thanks to a unique catch-up system, the player who is behind always starts the next round.

MORPHIBLOCK is easy to learn, but tactical decisions and long-term planning are key if you want to finish the game with the highest score.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

MORPHIBLOCK cubes feature the Chinese Five Elements and a Neutral element on their six faces.

On your turn, you add one of your cubes to the shared 3D block and score points based on how the elements interact. Plan your strategy carefully to be the player who completes levels and vertical bands, which can be worth a lot of points.

The player with the lowest score in a round starts the next round — with a special placement that can help turn the game around.

Every cube changes the structure, so finding the best way to finish with the highest score is never easy.

THE FIVE ELEMENTS

At the heart of MORPHIBLOCK are the Chinese Five Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water.

The elements interact through two cycles: they can nurture or overcome one another. These relationships are at the core of every placement you make.

How you connect the elements shapes both the structure — and your score.

Every cube you place can create several interactions at once — and every connection matters.

Matching elements score +1 point, Nurturing Interactions score +2 points, while Overcoming Interactions score −2 points. Beyond these basic interactions, Plus Placements, Minus Placements, and completing Levels and Vertical Bands can bring you even more points.

Rotate and place your cubes to find the best positions in the ever-growing block, outmaneuver your opponents — and finish the game with the highest score.

WHY MORPHIBLOCK?

MORPHIBLOCK is built around a shared 3D structure. You are not building your own separate area — every cube becomes part of the same block, constantly changing the possibilities for everyone at the table.

Every placement is both an opportunity and a decision for what comes next. You can create valuable positions for yourself, take them away from your opponents, or set up a bigger scoring opportunity for a later turn.

And the game keeps everyone in the fight: the player with the lowest score at the end of a round gets a Plus or Minus Placement and starts the next round, creating opportunities to catch up — or even turn the game around.

MORPHIBLOCK started with a simple idea: what if we built a larger structure out of small cubes — perhaps even a bigger cube? And what if we used the interactions of the Chinese Five Elements on the faces of those cubes?

From the first handmade versions to professionally manufactured prototypes, the game has been continuously developed, tested and refined.

We have played dozens of playtest games with real players, alongside thousands of computer-simulated games to explore different player counts, strategies and game situations.

Every prototype, every playtest and every adjustment has brought MORPHIBLOCK one step closer to the game we want to bring to your table.
