Ever felt like you've had ideas that just weren't creative enough? Ones that you were too embarrassed to say? We've all been there, and that's exactly why I created Mutagen. 

Mutagen is a card game that uses quick gameplay and out-of-the-box prompts to help you create innovative ideas. Whether you're running a brainstorming session, or just looking to have some mind-stimulating fun, Mutagen is there to help.  

I'm Sebastian, creator of Mutagen. Time and time again, I noticed people struggling with ideation. You might experience it too, at work with your bosses and colleagues around you, or even something as low stakes as planning a party. I designed Mutagen to not just make brainstorming quicker and more effective, but also more fun.

The secret is gamification. Mutagen has been meticulously crafted to deliver both creativity and fun without allowing one aspect to compromise the other.

📦 What's included?

Digital Cards:
All the cards you get in the physical deck, but in digital form! They come in both PNG and PDF form. In addition, you'll also get a version with bleed just in case you want to print it! 

Physical Cards: 
52 Mutagen cards to help you ideate wild ideas! Includes 13 Scenario cards with problem statements if you don't want to come up with one. Mutagen cards are poker-sized (63x88mm) and are made from the same material as well for a long-lasting and luxurious experience. 

Timer: 
A 60-second timer used for Mutagen's alternative game mode. Also useful for workshops in general! 

Instructions: 
Contains two game modes: 
1. Mutagen Classic, a fast-paced game mode where players race to create! 
2. Mutagen Brainwriting, a slower game mode for those who prefer a more relaxed game 

Facilitator's Guide:
Learn the "why" behind Mutagen and how it improves creativity. Contains the following: 
- Facilitation advice from our Facilitation Expert: Mark
- What to do before and after Mutagen 
- How creativity works 
- The game design principles behind Mutagen
- How to alter Mutagen for your goals 
- Printable PDF worksheets 

2:1 Consultation: 
A 1-hour discussion with Mark and Sebastian about how you can use Mutagen more effectively. 
- 30 minutes with Mark on facilitating design thinking 
- 30 minutes with Sebastian on Mutagen-specific advice 
- and 5 personalized cards tailored to your needs!  

What are stretch goals?

Stretch goals are a Kickstarter classic! For those who don't know, stretch goals allow campaigns to continue adding rewards even after we've reached the funding goal. It's a way for us to appreciate our supporters and keep the fun going! We'll continue to update this graphic and add more goals as we reach them.

This timeline is only an estimate. These dates might change based on additional rewards gained from the stretch and community goals, but we'll try to stick to these as much as we can. There is already significant buffer time added, and with the deck design 90% done, there should be substantial time for minor additions.
