Neon Cartels

As a small indie team bringing our very first board game to market, our focus is clear: delivering a reliable project at a fair price for you. Neon Cartels has a large scope with over 200 cards and custom Wasteland tiles. To manage this volume of visuals, we utilized generative AI tools to assist with base card visuals, promotional graphics, videos, and text.

That was just the first step: every single graphic was subsequently edited, adjusted, and finalized by hand in Photoshop to match our unified style.

On top of that, an essential portion of the artwork is created entirely with original, hand-drawn illustrations – including key components such as the new box cover art, the widescreen cards, and selected game elements. For full transparency, all hand-illustrated graphics and components will be clearly marked and labeled accordingly throughout the campaign and in the game.

The core game design, including every mechanic, card effect, rulebook entry, and balance test, was 100% crafted by us in-house.
