« Next Day ! » est un jeu festif coopératif pour 3 à 6 joueurs dans lequel les participants tentent de livrer des colis et de relever des défis ! En équipe, les joueurs doivent livrer des colis totalisant 100 points en se rendant aux adresses respectives indiquées sur le plateau. À titre individuel, les joueurs doivent accumuler le plus grand nombre de points D.I.K. Pour cela, ils doivent relever des défis en secret. Les joueurs conduisent la camionnette à tour de rôle pour atteindre ces objectifs. Un tour (conduite de la camionnette) consiste à prendre 4 jetons « temps » et à les utiliser pour effectuer des actions : déplacer la camionnette sur le plateau, piocher une carte D.I.K., réparer la camionnette ou récupérer un nouveau colis. Chaque colis comporte un ou plusieurs événements qui lui sont associés ; lorsqu’un jeton de temps recouvre un événement, le conducteur le récupère et le lit à voix haute. Trois options sont proposées, et le conducteur doit en choisir une. Le résultat est ensuite lu à voix haute et mis en scène (perte de temps, dommages causés à la camionnette, etc.). Les cartes D.I.K sont des défis que les joueurs doivent relever en secret pendant la partie. Il peut s’agir de chanter, de danser, de s’insulter les uns les autres, etc. Si un joueur remarque qu’un autre joueur est en train de réaliser un défi D.I.K, il peut miser l’une de ses propres cartes D.I.K et tenter de deviner de quel défi il s’agit. S’il réussit, il remporte le D.I.K de l’autre joueur et conserve les points ; dans le cas contraire, il perd le D.I.K qu’il a misé. La partie se termine lorsque l’équipe atteint 100 points, détruit le fourgon ou arrive à la fin du temps imparti pour quatre colis. —description du concepteur
