Welcome to MexiLingo game, the exciting card game that brings the lively world of Mexican Spanish slang to your tabletop! MexiLingo is not just a game; it's an immersive language experience designed for players aged 13 and above. 

In MexiLingo, players dive into a series of rounds where they compete to decode, guess and match with a shout out of popular Mexican slang phrases. The game features cards, each with a unique slang expression, along with its English translation and usage context.

How To Play - 2-Player Mode: Turn by Turn

Sort Into 5 Groups

Organize each group pile independently by their group number. 

Decide Who Goes First

Flip a coin or shout a slang phrase: whoever uses a word from the deck first goes first.

Player 1 picks a group: Any of groups 1–5

Player 1 shuffles and secretly decide the playable card. Then, place the card at the top of the group deck at hand. 
They don't not show it. This is the hidden card.

Player 1 gives one clue

Player 1 announces which group number the card came from and gives exactly one clue. The clue can an explanation, a letter from the phrase/word,  a gesture etc.

Example clue: 

• It's from Group 2. 
• You use it when something surprises you. Like you can't believe it happened.
• The Phrase has letter N in it.

Then, Player 1 places the playable card face-down in the centre play area

Player 2 hunts their matching card, shouts and places their card

Player 2 searches through their own Group 2 pile for a card they think matches the clue. Player 2 shouts out the phrase as they place their card face-up next to Player 1's face-down card in the play area.
Both players check if it's a match.

Winning the card

You must shout out the phrase to win the card.  If the guess is the correct match, you win the card.

Winning the game

First the collect 10 opponent's cards wins the game.

4-Player Mode

The game play is the same as 2-Player mode but with a slight difference. Starter Pair corresponds to 2 players and the expansion pair corresponds to the other 2 players. All players races to be the first to reach 10 opponent's cards.
