Heyo, I’m Sydney! The human behind Nogg’n Joggin and the one woman show behind Gripper Games where the game is worth grabbin’

I grew up in the beautiful state of NC, where my siblings and I spent countless hours around the table playing card games, usually until our butts got sore! That love for games stuck with me, and now here I am in Knoxville, TN, making one of my own!

If you're a fan of Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza or Scattergories, there's a good chance Nogg'n Joggin will be right up your alley! It's a mix of wordplay, quick thinking, and trying not to be the last one to slap! 

I've always been a creative at heart, and after a few years of tweaking, playtesting, and designing while balancing a 9 to 5...IT'S A REAL FREAKIN GAME!!

Gripper Games is currently a tiny business of one, plus my boyfriend and cat, who provide occasional labor and emotional support :) I've put a whole lot of love (and hours!) into this game, and we're finally ready to get this thang into production!

THE BIRTH OF NOGG’N JOGGIN

It all started on a road trip. My boyfriend and I were trying to pass the time, so I came up with a little road game. I’d pick a word—like ROCK—and we’d take turns coming up with things from a category, like animals or things we saw on the road, to spell it one letter at a time.

After playing for a bit, he looked at me and said, “You should turn this into a game.”

So naturally... 3 years, lots of trial and error, playtesting, and trips back to the drawing board later, Nogg’n Joggin was BIRTHED!!

What started as a goofy way to kill time on a road trip is now a real game getting ready to land on your table :)
