Note: Ash and Rob are using standard d8 dice to play in this video with a dice face key. You may do the same if you prefer not to use the included Oasis dice, or, use our free dice roller.
A Note on Unlocked Stretch Goals
When a Stretch Goal is unlocked, if it is a model (either terrain or miniature), a Digital STL of that item is added to every Reward tier (physical and digital) at no extra cost. No action is required by backers.
For physical item Stretch Goals unlocked, they are available as optional Add-Ons. Some of these are quite heavy, such as the unlocked Neoprene Game Mat. The additional weight will contribute to overall shipping costs as calculated during the Pledge Manager phase.

Painted Miniatures Gallery
Oasis Wave 1 Miniatures (all but the Titan and Buffalo Q) painted by the incredibly talented Jason Newman (
Rivethead Studios) (Instagram link).
Great for a scale comparison of actual physical models. For reference, the small white triple-based Oni Power Armor in the front measure as a height of 12mm (Power armor is a bit chunky).
Note: Many of Jason's individual photos appear in the galleries for each individual miniature under Add-Ons.
As an additional scale reference, here is a Nyx with a GHQ 1/285 T-72:

About the Designer, Dale Eadeh
Between projects as a creative director and design work for Battletech, Oasis has spent about 8 years in the background of my life, slowly being developed, with ideas bounced between me and my best friend of two decades, Jason Kurzweil. The universe, rules, and miniatures all took their turns in the spotlight, and by the time I was happy with one of those elements, I'd grown extremely dissatisfied with the other two. That happened multiple times, with most of the miniatures getting several ground-up redesigns, the rules being unrecognizably overhauled, and the dice changing from D20 to custom D6 and everything in between.
The core ideas of this universe stayed the same: A humanity that has become an intergalactic corporate-owned railroad town, a civilizational palimpsest spread over millions of years, and armed archeological surveyors rummaging through the trash for treasures, Roadside Picnic-style. It's not a universe you necessarily want to live in, but it's one that's fun to dip into - heavily armed and looking to make a profit. Likewise, the core mechanical and player experience goals have stayed the same: an emphasis on zones-of-play (and keeping information readily at hand rather than locked behind stacks of rulebooks and charted esoterica), prioritizing intuitive, real-world visual representation over token bloat, and minimal bookkeeping. All of this is to say: games are designed for play, and it's been my priority that the focus remains on playing with awesome miniatures, engaging in cross-tabletop capers, and building engaging scenarios with your friends.
About the Publisher, Collins Epic Wargames
Byron Collins began designing games in high school as a creative outlet to reskin D&D into a home-brew Sci-Fi RPG. This kicked off a journey in 2008 to self-publish a number of WWII-themed card and miniatures games (Spearpoint 1943 series) while learning and teaching about publishing and crowdfunding in the process.
His interest shifted back to Sci-Fi to develop an innovative sandbox Sci-Fi miniatures-agnostic tabletop game called Polyversal, designed by Ken Whitehurst, which received an Origins Award nomination in 2022 for Best Miniatures Game and won RockyMountainNavy's Wargame Rules of the Year in 2025. Polyversal led to new collaborations with others including Austin of Death Ray Designs, Laramie of Tabletop Terrain, Dale Eadeh of Hardware Studios, and a number of fantastic artists and graphic designers.
Collins Epic Wargames is publishing Oasis: Tactical Salvage Reclamation and actively developing additional games. Byron runs Collins Epic Wargames with his fiance, Kat, out of Williamsburg, Virginia.
Acknowledgements
We have a lot of people to thank for getting where we are today. A sweeping thank you to all of the artists who worked or consulted on this project: Alan, Jordan, Eldon, James, and Mike. An extra huge thank you to Marco Mazzoni, who is not just an artist, but has become an increasingly intrinsic part of this shaping this universe, and is becoming the alien mind to our human one. A thank you to Patso Catso, who's secretly working on a bunch of stuff that's not in this Gamefound, but that you'll get to see soon. A special thank you and shout-out to Aaron Kambeitz, who helped guide and shape our teaser, and who will hopefully get more involved moving forward. Chris Wailes of Thunderhead Studios, who did our teaser VO, Brennen Massicotte and Giacomo Pantalone (Massicotte Studios & The Lazy Forger), and Teddy Lindsey (Martian Models) who've all been incredible sounding boards and collaborators. Sean Sutter who sat down with me about 3 years back and gave me the knowledge and the push to make this get somewhere (and then Teddy who bullied me into bringing a demo to GenCon - a demo that was borderline unplayable, and then Lex Ratner, who bullied me into bringing a much better demo to NOVA). Greg Horton of Electi Studios, who laid out our rulebook beautifully and who's always been a general mensch and sounding board. Ash Barker who has signal boosted us to an incredible degree for nothing more than the plastic ships needed to play the game. Zack, who's been giving tips on how to build a community based on his invaluable experience crafting the Trench Crusade community. The Con Men - the pack of hooligans that I look forward to seeing at NOVA, GenCon, and Adepticon (a special shout here to Chuck because he demands it). Our painters, Jason Newman, Scott Stinger, and Kevin Witt - you'll see more from these last two soon. Every one of the people who demo'd the game, the lovely people who have reviewed it or interviewed us (see the media section) and our honestly incredible, lively, and hilarious Discord community. Our mods, Dave, Tanner, and Lex, who helped foster that community and who've generally gone above and beyond. And last but most (since this is actually Dale writing this), our incredible partners, Austin and Laramie, our families who've tolerated a lot of late nights and grumpy days, and most importantly of all: the king of crushing it, Byron, without whom this would little more than 20 STLs in a trenchcoat.
