— description du concepteur
Présentation de la campagne
PAKT: The Game of Faustian Bargains is a card game for 3 to 6 players, playable in 30-45 minutes. A lighthearted social game contrasted by a serious occult aesthetic.
A game where you get the gifts first and pay the price later.
Gather Followers
On your turn, you can play one Follower from your hand and put it in front of you. If you begin your turn with more Followers than any other player, you win.

Accept Gifts
On your turn, you can also play Gifts. Each Gift lets you manipulate the game: kill or steal followers; draw more cards; cancel the Gifts of other players. As you play Gifts, they are discarded in front of you.

Make Pakts
At the start of your turn, if you have Gifts in front of you but no Pakt, you must commit to a Pakt. Pick one with a value high enough to cover the number of Gifts in front of you, or higher.
Once the number of Gifts you have in front of you meets or exceeds the number on your Pakt: flip the Pakt over, read its instructions out loud to the table, and play with the defined lose condition for the rest of the game. This lose condition only applies to you!

Pay the Price
If you fail to follow any lose condition on one of your Pakts, the game is over and the other players share a victory against you. That's right — you lose and the others all win!

That's it - Pakt: The Game of Faustian Bargains.
