The Pantheon

A collection of extra-dimensional beings, both alive and dead, the Pantheon of Fears provides a strong Cosmic Horror experience for Daggerheart.  Not just the beings, this book also includes stat blocks, landmarks, and items both usable and craftable.

Why did they come here?  What do they intend?  The only answer we have is the "how"?  One day the sky tore apart as a giant, glass-like creature tried to make its way into the realm, and was destroyed as it hit our reality.  

The gateway did not close, and now its fellows are pouring through. 

Not every creature is an adversary, and not every adversary can be defeated through combat alone.  Battle against bizarre monstrosities and fallen friends, use the environment to your advantage, and prepare for the worst as the Pantheon of Fears warp your realm into strange new worlds filled with cosmic horror.

A Shadow Tarot card set is available, and can act as a great visual aid for 'Pantheon of Fears'.  

Provided as a collated pdf and as individual png cards for home printing, it also comes with instructions for reading Shadow Tarot.  Card art reflects the art in the book, the card surrounds are currently being designed to fit the theme of the Pantheon.

The People

           The Pantheon is from four of the creators behind Wondrous Environments:

Flatfrog is our go-to stat block guy.  His most recent release, Slightly Random Tables, has just gone up on Drive Thru RPG and is pretty good, we use it ourselves in our own games!  His Copy-Editors Guide is a go-to for Daggerheart creators too.

Bjarke the Bard gets stuck fixing spelling, sorting editing and trying to keep us from serious mission creep.  He's also a powerhouse for writing games, checking that things actually work, and creating interesting instances and situations.  You can find the Bjarke the Bard website by clicking here.

Gethin deals primarily with socials, making sure the rules make sense and work, as well as making sure we actually finish the books without getting overly distracted.  A long time player and game runner, he runs a lot of games and has his own TTRPG YouTube channel, "The Welsh DM".

Joy is the artist and monster designer.   A lot of the content in the book is based on her personal cosmic horror collection - having played since 3.5E D&D she's made a lot of monsters and drifts toward her favourite genres given the chance.  Now she wants to add them to Daggerheart.  Her website has some free to use art, and custom art charges.

Runic Collective titles are side-projects developed by sub-groups of the Runic Press team.  Often smaller, these projects are fair profit-shares between members, and reflect the independent spirit of Runic Press's members.
