People of Pong: The Premiere Hero Pong Game

The Story so Far

     Pong is a tiny planet in a distant galaxy inhabited by a variety of folk. A select few champions earn the right to compete in the TOURNAMENT OF CUPS. 48 of the strongest Heroes from every corner of Pong gather. Each brings their own strengths, and sometimes weaknesses, to the tournament. Only the best will achieve GLORY

Gameplay

     The People of Pong prepare for the TOURNAMENT OF CUPS by arranging 10 cups in a triangular rack at each end of a long table. The game is played with 2 teams of 2. The rules are simple: Each player gets 1 shot to throw a ping pong ball from one end of the table and try to hit one of their cups on the other. When a cup is hit, it is pulled from the game. The first team to pull every one of their cups wins!

     But the People of Pong tend to play by their own rules. Before you begin a game, each player drafts a Hero from a pool of 8 cards. 

     Heroes have 3 levels of Abilities. Players have access to the abilities on their Hero card up to their current level. Abilities allow players to make extra shots, pull extra cups, add players to their team, level up their teammates, steal an opponent’s shot, rearrange the cups, copy abilities, and much more!

     Beware, some abilities are curses and apply challenges for the player like throwing underhand, or needing to hit certain cups.

     Luckily, People of Pong is a team game. Choosing Heroes that synergize with your teammate and counter your opponent is key to victory! People of Pong offers over a thousand different team combinations, some more powerful than others.

Hero Abilities

     Abilities come in four types: passives are always active, actions can be used once per turn, specials can be used once per game, and curses immediately apply negative effects for the rest of the game. Some Heroes even have specials that can inflict curses on your opponents! 

     Begin at lvl 1. Level up by hitting a designated number of cups to unlock lvl 2 and 3 abilities.

     Each Hero card features original art and a unique set of abilities. No two cards are alike.

For Everyone

     People of Pong is not a drinking game and meant for anyone capable of throwing a ping pong ball into a cup.

About Us

     Caravan Games is Connor Dunn, Scott Wilson, and Chris Logan: long time friends who have been playing and creating games together since high school. We aim to make straight forward games that are easy to pick up while still feeling competitive and strategic. People of Pong is our first public project.
