What is PDT?

Pirates Dragons Treasure (PDT) is a fast-paced, lighthearted ship-building card game for 2-6 players, ages 7 and up. One-shot a dragon in as little as 20-30 minutes, or dive into campaigns and slay dragons all night long. 

Inspired by swashbuckling pirate legends, high-seas fantasy, and classic adventure tales, Pirates Dragons Treasure is set in a vibrant age of piracy where dragons roam, and fortunes are won and lost at sea. It’s a world of daring captains, heavily armed ships, and reckless gambles, where legendary beasts lust for the treasures that saturate the Cradle of Fortune.

Stretch Goals

Our first stretch goal will be (dun dun dun) an ALL-NEW DRAGON! You knew it was coming. Dragons are one of our favorite things about the game, and our illustrators' favorite characters to create. At $9,000 in funding, we'll engage our backers to vote on the next type of dragon we add to the game. This bonus will be included in the base game and is available to backers of all physical pledge levels. 

With this addition to the game, you'll have a whopping 13 dragons to battle in PDT between the base game, limited edition, and booster pack dragons. 

By vote of the crew the ZOMBIE dragon will be added to each Second Edition of the game!

When the campaign reaches $11k, we’ll upgrade the new game tokens from cardboard punchouts to premium wooden tokens. These upgraded tokens will offer a sturdier feel, improved durability, and help players track curses and lingering effects during gameplay and dragon battles. 

This bonus will be included in the base game and is available to backers of all physical pledge levels. 

When the campaign reaches $13k, we'll add shiny metallic foil to all the dragon cards in the Second Edition game box. We've used this foil on limited edition cards in the past, and it looks amazing -- an upgrade that speaks to the pirate inside all of us!

When the campaign reaches $18k, we'll add a custom metal PDT coin to the Second Edition game box. This coin will be used to indicate the Swashbuckler each round and serves a second purpose as a handy mechanism to resolve ties and table disputes during the game. We're pirates, of course we want some real treasure in the box!

Shipping & Pledge Manager

Shipping costs and taxes will be calculated and charged in the Pledge Manager after the campaign closes. This helps us keep costs accurate for your individual pledge, after all stretch goals and add-ons are accounted for. 

Below are rough shipping cost estimates for support at the PDT: Complete Edition level. We will ship from the USA. Depending on your location, you may be responsible for local tax, customs, and/or duties.
