Welcome to Planetary TCG!

Here at Planetary TCG, we have always been passionate about trading card games, enjoying the excitement of opening booster packs, creating decks, and facing off in heated battles. The vision of Planetary Trading Card Game is to bring all these features together in a dynamic and strategic gameplay. We hope to share our love of TCGs and fantasy with you through this game.

Starting out as just an idea, this TCG quickly became much more than that. Over the years, we conceptualized, designed, tested, and edited what would become Planetary TCG. We wanted to make a game that had the thrill of opening packs, the strategies of deck building and playing against an opponent, as well as fantasy and sci-fi card designs. This game has come a long way from when it was created, and we would like you to join us on the last stretch of this journey, and complete our dream of making Planetary TCG available for all to play. Through this project, we aim to begin an affordable, sustainable, and expandable TCG. 

Planetary Trading Card Game is a space-themed battle game that brings to life aliens, warriors, wizards and more. The game focuses largely on creative and innovative deck building. This leads to a huge amount of variations and strategies during gameplay. There are 218 (+ stretch goals) cards that vary in power and special abilities, allowing for many different scenarios to occur during gameplay. 

Cards come in booster packs of 18, each pack containing select holographic cards. We also offer premade decks so you can head straight into battle with your favorite! It is a great collectible game but can be purchased as a single game as well. This can be done with the starter set, which includes two decks, two playmats, and dice, allowing players of a wide range of skill levels to face off with minimal setup required.

The Universe of Planetary TCG

In this trading card game, you direct an intergalactic army of creatures from up to two out of the five sectors of the galaxy of your choosing. With strength from units, magic from spell cards, technology from equipment cards, unpredictable disasters from play cards, and most importantly your own strategies, you fight for victory in a great battle of two armies.

Features of Galactic Clash:

• 273 cards total
• 210 base set cards
• 8 legend cards
• 55 alternate art full art cards, creating a huge gallery of amazing art to try to collect.
• Sets up the storyline for Rise of Legends, the next official planned Planetary Set

We hope to add more interactive story features to cards in Rise of Legends; Galactic Clash is more of an open ended intro to the game leaving out a lot of the backstory and lore.

How to Play

Below is a brief summary on how to play, however a more specific instructions manual can be found here.

In this TCG, players face off one-on-one in heated card battles. To win the game, a player must destroy their opponent's base; by bringing its defense value from 50, to 0. In order to do this, players face off in rounds, with each round weakening a player's base until it is destroyed. Every round, players can place unit cards, spell cards, equipment cards and action cards on the battlefield to gain the upper hand.

Galactic Clash

This is the first ever set of cards made for Planetary TCG. There are 273 cards, 5 unique full arts, 8 legend full arts, and a huge selection of 55 alternate art full art cards. Cards rarities range from Common to Legend. Whether you seek to collect the rarest of cards, or simply expand your gameplay possibilities, Galactic Clash offers a variety of cards for both. 

Products

Booster packs:

These are the most basic products offered, containing 18 cards with chances of Extreme Rare and Legend cards within. Use booster packs to expand your collection and possibilities during gameplay.

Booster boxes:

These boxes contain 20 booster packs, for a total of 360 cards. While buying a booster box provides sufficient cards to create a deck, it is recommend to begin with a starter deck and use these boxes to expand possibilities. 

Starter decks:

There are 5 premade decks sold individually for Galactic Clash, each deck associated with a sector. Starter decks provide a great starting point for new players to learn the game. 

Starter sets:

These sets contain two premade decks, with dice and 2 playmats. Starter sets contain all that is required to play a game with minimal set up. Each deck in the starter set also contains a holographic card. Best for new players to learn the game. 

Additional Goals:

Production and Timeline

June 31, 2027: Kickstarter campaign launches.

July 30, 2027: Campaign ends (30-day funding period).

August 2027: Final card designs locked and sent to print; manufacturing begins.

September 2027: Printing and production of boosters, boxes, and starter sets.

October 2027: Quality control, packaging, and shipping preparation.

November 30, 2027: Production completed and products shipped from our facility.

December 2027: Customs clearance and regional distribution across Canada and the USA.

December 25, 2027: All products delivered to backers.

Please note that timelines for physical manufacturing and shipping can shift due to factors outside our control, such as customs delays or supply chain disruptions. We will keep all backers updated with regular progress reports throughout production.

Next Steps For Planetary TCG: 

If this project is successful we plan on: 

• Preparing the Rise of Legends official set with many more cards, new mechanics, products, and more
• Expand Planetary Trading Card Game universe by making Planetary backstory and lore publicly available
