plotted: the game

A couple of years ago, I came up with two axes that I liked to use to categorize people: slow to fast and tweaker to chiller. This created four "quadrants" of people, and my friends and community loved to discuss where different people fell on the plot.
Last year, I made a dating flyer to help me find a "fast chiller" and part of the flyer was a survey that categorized people. The more I created around this flyer, the more I learned that people loved to talk about the idea of the axes and the four quadrants of people.
Eventually, I had the idea for a board game based around the idea of the axes and plotted: the game was born. The game has 200 unique axes cards, and each round someone labels the graph with two different spectrums. They plot themselves in secret, and then everyone else tries to guess where they landed. The fun part is the discussions, conversations, and (occasional) arguments that occur.
I'm passionate about this game because I believe that truly conencting with others is what makes life meaningful. This is a party game, but it's also a tool to get beyond small talk and have silly, reflective, and important conversations with those you love.
