Print 'n' Roll: Trenches and Battlefields

This is the largest ever set of Trench Themed Terrain and Texture Rollers for building an entire mud-choked battlefield littered with barbed wire and sandbags. 

Our focus was to make the set as accessible as possible to those who have a 3D printer, as well as to those who prefer physical models. 

Therefore, you guys can get everything in the project as a digital STL file or have the Physical models sent to you!

The set is designed for use with 28-32mm scale wargames, RPGs, and diorama making.

Easy to Print and Roll!

For those of you who want to print the models themselves: All of the items come both fully Pre-Supported for Resin Printing and Laid flat for FDM Printing so no matter which printer type you have, you are ready to go!

For the texture rollers, all you need is some air-drying clay (or any clay-like material of your choice) to roll the textures into, and it is very easy to work with no waste! 

These are the two core sets included in this Trenches and Battlefields Campaign, each with a huge variety of texture rollers, stamps, cutters, and printable terrain!

The No Man’s Land Set Focuses on realistic trench warfare, featuring everything from sandbags, tank traps, and barbed wire terrain, to detailed texture rollers for rolling our crater-littered mud, trench walls, and mud churned up by the march of thousands of boots.

The Frontline Crusaders Set focuses on an alternative version of trench warfare with overarching religious and demonic themes. It features everything from artillery, barbed wire made from crosses, and shell-striken ruins, to detailed texture rollers for rolling out piles of corpses in the mud, trench walls, and skull-littered mud boiled by the march of demons.

There are three trench-themed base sets, each including 33 different bases with sizes ranging from 25mm all the way up to 170x105mm. The bases are designed to print perfectly on both FDM and Resin printers, and all include magnet slots on the underside so that you can attach them to metal carrying cases for easy transportation of your models.

Printing bases and having them come out with perfect edges and no warping in resin is no simple feat. Therefore, we spend a huge amount of time testing and tweaking until our base support system now results in perfectly printed bases with flawless edges. 

The toolkit is extensive! It has everything you need to cut out the bases for a whole army, and create gridded tiles for TTRPGs and terrain for every purpose!

It includes everything from base cutters for every size and shape of base from square to round to hex, spacers to select the depth you want to roll at, pins to connect rollers together, and much more!

You can roll and cut whole bases or use the smaller Base Topper Cutters to cut base toppers that fit perfectly on top of standard plastic bases.

Don't worry if you look at these and are unsure of what is what, and what purpose they may have, as we have you covered and will provide an explanation to you along with the rewards.

Our models are built for easy printing on both resin and FDM machines!

All of our models come with both pre-supported and non-supported versions, whether you're printing terrain, scatter, or texture rollers. We've worked hard to build a support system that balances print success, easy cleanup, and preserved detail. Supports are sturdy where needed (like large flat pieces), but many are designed to peel away in one smooth, satisfying pull, often with minimal or no cleanup required.

Resin Printing (recommended for best detail):
Pre-supported versions are optimized for clean separation and reliable results. Supports are placed to reduce warping and preserve detail, especially on rollers and fine terrain.

FDM Printing (fully compatible with great results):
While we primarily print in resin for the best detail, our models are designed with FDM printing in mind too. Many community members have had excellent results printing terrain and rollers on well-tuned FDM printers. With good calibration and minimal layer lines, you can still achieve strong, clean prints using PLA or PETG. Rollers are especially FDM-friendly and are designed to print flat on the build plate. No supports needed!

Texture Roller Print Settings (FDM):
While best settings vary from printer to printer, we use a 0.2 mm layer height, 3 or more perimeters/walls, and 10% infill. Rollers print directly on the build bed and are support-free.

Shortly after the completion of the project, you’ll receive an email from MyMiniFactory prompting you to log into your account using the email address you provided. If you don’t already have an account, you’ll be invited to create one. Once you're logged in, your files will appear in your library all ready for you to start printing!

All of the models in the project are test printed, so you will be able to begin printing right away without any printing issues!

Quality Control

Each item will be carefully checked for defects prior to shipping by our dedicated, established physical production partner. As the rollers and miniatures will be produced in resin, there may be small marks on the underside of models from where the supports were attached. 

The base cutters will be produced in FDM as this is a stronger way to print such items, and as such, will have a slightly rougher surface than the models and rollers.

Manufacturing and Shipping

Each item is already fully test printed, so production can begin right away. Our miniatures are resin printed and hand-cleaned individually, rather than mass-produced in plastic. As a small business, this hands-on process ensures high detail and quality, but it can also lead to longer production times during periods of high demand. That said, we’re fully committed to working as efficiently as possible to ensure a smooth turnaround and timely delivery once the project is complete.

We expect to start making the first deliveries for physical orders in August. Orders will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The estimated delivery is listed on the physical tiers as October 2025; however, we will be producing orders immediately after the completion of the project in order to deliver products as soon as possible. 

Should any unforeseen major issues or delays arise, these will be communicated to you promptly by the Kickstarter messaging system.

We have done our very best to keep the shipping costs down as much as we can for you guys, and as such, it will only cost £1 extra for each add-on you add to the order. This is to cover the increased shipping cost and packaging materials.

Customs

All items will be distributed from the UK. While customs and import duties may apply depending on your location and order, smaller or lower-value packages can often pass through without any issue. We recommend checking your local regulations for the most accurate information.
