Welcome Traveler!
Are you prepared to set off on an adventure?
With my extensive experience as both a player and a dungeon master, I know how important it is to keep your world dynamic and engaging, especially when players take unexpected detours. As a DM, I’ve often found myself scrambling to create a meaningful side quests on the spot. That’s why I designed this ongoing series of one-shot adventures.
I'm thrilled to present my latest creation - Prophet of the Fae a collection of engaging encounters with maps, ideal for letting your players loose and assured they will have memorable moments. With an additional 4 hour one shot adventure included!!!
- All backers will receive a copy of the PDF.
- Backers who have pledged at the Hero level or more will get a thank you in the credits.
Contents
Welcome to the Prophet of the Fae, A bard recruiting for a strange new god.
Explore this adventure and collection of encounters for your party to engage with and have memorable gaming moments. This and venture and related encounters will begin with classic, familiar scenarios but will transform as they are explored to enrich the world the players inhabit.
The 4 hour one-shot adventure will introduce the village of Blackthorn and the encounters that can happen within. A deeper mystery will be set up as the party must uncover what the bard is doing and figure ways to deal with the Fae creature that they are feeding.
Each of the additional encounter provides:
- Any special requirements or recommendations to run it effectively
Preview
For this adventure I will follow our previous design principles. In the following examples you can see the design standard I strive to maintain and ensure the information is clear and concise with all additional information added.
Please note these examples do not reflect any of the written content that will be in the final book, these are to show general design and standards:
The adventure will take place over two pages, packed with details to ensure you can run it. You will also receive an additional creature stat block for the Fae.
The adventure will have text to be read aloud, hooks, information on the village, bard and Fae, and details of where the adventure will lead. Stat blocs for custom creatures will be included. Finally I will include details for any treasure or reward the party may receive.
I intend this one-shot to be a more narrative based approach with NPCs and a clear 'story'.
The adventure will also include a one to two page letter hand-out that can help with world building!
Maps
For this adventure I will design maps with points of interest and interiors of buildings for you to use.
These maps are examples of previous maps I have created:
Artwork & Maps
All art and maps created in this book are by humans. I will be creating the maps myself and writing the encounters. The artwork for the front cover is by the amazing @closeenoughnate
Stretch Goals
A key part of my design philosophy is community partnership, so I'll ask you, the project backers, for stretch goal ideas and input.
I'm pleased to announce the stretch goals:
£400 - Encounters table - LOCKED
Thank you
Thank you for your support in bringing these supplements to life, it means the world to me. My previous books and supplements wouldn't exist without your support, so thank you for taking the time to read through this project and give it your consideration. You are amazing!
The PDF - Fulfillment
I will produce one version of the PDF. The adventure will be released as an individual paged PDF.
The map files will also be included with this to allow you to print off the map files as necessary for playing in person or for reference.
The PDF and map files will be provided using DriveThruRPG!
Physical - Fulfillment
I will post the physical copy myself. You should receive the physical copy within a month of the project completing the funding stage.
