Pug-O-Ween Tarot Cards

Intro

My husband and I always look forward to every October when we can dress up our pugs for Halloween. Louie and Luna dress up every year in their costumes so everyone who trick-or-treats can see them. Don't worry, they get treats too!

I had gotten into tarot card readings and had an epiphany about combining the three themes: Halloween, pugs, & tarot. This started with a fun idea and turned into a passion project so that others can enjoy the deck.

Whether you collect all things pug/Halloween-related or are an avid tarot card collector, we hope this brings a smile to your face. Thank you for helping my husband and me bring the Pug-O-Ween tarot deck to Kickstarter!

Louie is a 9 year old fawn Pug who enjoys his daily naps.

Luna is our 2 year old black Pug who gets into all types of shenanigans.

Creative Process

My husband and I brainstormed what costumes and which one of our pugs would fit an arcana. For example, our girl pug Luna dressed as a princess for the Empress card. Then my husband would draw out and paint the illustration in Procreate on his iPad. He also laid out the card and borders in InDesign.
