RACER Escape Rooms - October!

Are you ready for a historical adventure?  Whether braving the terror of World War II or exploring the world of Victorian Gothic Horror, RACER escape rooms are a great way to spend time with good people.

RACERs (ROGUE ARTIST CREATIONS ESCAPE ROOMS) are play-at-home or play-onscreen puzzle adventures that take about an hour and are great when enjoyed solo, with family and/or friends.  They take about an hour to complete, are suitable for families and adults and nothing needs to be cut, bent, torn or folded, so they are fully resettable in physical form and completable in digital form.

So far, we have fulfilled nine monthly packs and a bonus Special Pack #1 completed, plus two bonus mini-pack SPRINT adventures in May and June! This month sees our tenth monthly pack: World War II: THE BLITZ and (as a bonus add-on) our Special Pack #2: HALLOWEEN! 

There are EIGHT challenges: each with a STORY segment and a PUZZLE segment.
Defeat all of these and you will be presented with a VICTORY page
... but if you care to delve deeper, there is a bonus NINTH puzzle:
a BONUS ENDGAME CHALLENGE, where you will reveal a final part of the story
and a final puzzle that will unlock an even better ending!  The packs also come with an introduction, hints and a SOLUTIONS section to help you to go through the answers.

Depending upon what you would like, we have several different levels and styles of play:

DIGITAL PACK = Get all the files for this month's adventure!

PHYSICAL PACK = If you live in the UK, you can order a printed-out physical pack to be delivered (free postage) to your door.

MULTI-PACK SAVINGS! = By going for our KING or QUEEN pledge, you will get a full year of adventure: 12 monthly packs for the King or 14 packs + bonus material for the Queen pledge!

What's the story for October, I hear you ask?

THE MAIN EVENT:  Our OCTOBER pack is set during THE BLITZ, a desperate part of WORLD WAR II when Hitler launched an eight-month-long bombing raid on Britain, trying to break British spirits and win the war.  What happened? The British people actually banded together even stronger than before and showed a greater determination to resist, keep calm and carry on!   It was a time when, (while the men were away fighting), the women of Britain took on brand-new roles and protected the people, as Air Raid wardens, building bombs, working on farms, breaking secret codes and more. We are following the efforts of a family of brave women as they protect people and keep their spirits up through the Blitz! 

SPECIAL PACK #2:  THE BONUS SURPRISE!  For our promised second special pack, we are putting out a HALLOWEEN SPECIAL!  Not only that, but the idea is that we fulfil it in record time to get it to people in time to play at Halloween, should they choose!  The year is 1816 and Lord Byron, socialite and scandalous writer, has invited some of his literary chums to a villa on the edge of Lake Geneva in Switzerland. He planned a trip of fun and festivities but crushing bad weather drives them all indoors to drink and read ghost stories, whereupon Byron announces a challenge: for everyone to write a brand-new masterpiece! From out of this meeting comes the inspiration for FRANKENSTEIN and DRACULA!  Follow along with the writers as they descend into madness... or genius!

As you can see, we do our best to provide fun and challenging puzzles that will appeal to a wide range of puzzlers. All of the packs are written after extensive (months-long) research and development from Mr Prowse, who is a school teacher with twenty years experience of developing puzzles and games around these topics!
