Alliant la nostalgie d’un roman à intrigues multiples au défi déductif d’une enquête policière, *Reunited for Revenge* raconte l’histoire d’un employé d’un traiteur assassiné lors d’une réunion d’anciens élèves. Les joueurs progressent dans l'histoire en faisant des choix, en collectant des cartes « indices » et « clés », en utilisant des cartes « objets » et en misant sur leur chance pour réussir des défis de lancer de dés, tout en utilisant un système unique de « retour en arrière » pour modifier leurs décisions passées. Pour remporter la partie, les joueurs doivent trouver les trois cartes-clés dissimulées dans certains parcours narratifs, puis utiliser ces clés pour débloquer le chemin menant à la véritable fin. Avec 30 fins différentes, les joueurs doivent faire appel à leur raisonnement déductif et à leur chance pour discerner la bonne voie, sans quoi la vérité risque de rester à jamais enfouie dans le mystère. Short on cash, you sign on as a day-worker for the company Cinder & Salt Catering. They are looking for extra hands to support their biggest event yet, Sylvan College of the Arts’ Class of 2014 Reunion. What you had hoped would be a simple cash-grab quickly spirals out of control when a fellow catering employee is found dead. Forced to remain in the venue until the police crack the case, suddenly everyone looks suspicious: a one-eyed lady, an overzealous reporter, and an accountant with a mystery-filled past are just a few of the potential suspects.
What could drive someone to committing murder in cold blood? Could it be revenge?
In Reunited for Revenge, you are in control of the story. The choices you make, the clues you find, and the dice challenges you suceed will shape your path. Only through revisting your past choices and using deductive reasoning to gleam the secrets hidden within the 30 possible endings will you gather enough evidence to unmask the mastermind behind this intricate murder mystery and find the keys to unlock the true ending to this case.
