How to Play
Plan ahead. Secretly place your dice for all phases to make sure you can follow your plan of acquiring modules, buy resources, board crew members, build modules and launch rockets. The higher the numbers - the higher the costs but also the power.
Bid for the modules you need to build your own rocket. Choose carefully as later on it will matter how robust and lucrative they are. Some need more resources but come equipped with valuable crew space or shields.
Aluminium, Titanium and Carbon Fiber. Buy your resources from the market in order to build your modules. Be quick as it can happen that resources sell out fast. Bid high to be the first one to pick a resource and control which one gets resupplied on the market.
Goal number one in the game – get your crew members away from earth. In the board phase you can exactly do that. Be aware that crew members can only board a rocket if free seats are available. If you bid too low in this phase all seats might be gone by the time it is your turn.
Finally, you can build your modules into a hangar of your choosing. Start a new rocket, add to an existing or finish one. With the latter you can launch the rocket and set course for unknown galaxies. Good luck pal.
In Rocket Rescue, victory points are awarded based on the difficulty of reaching planets: the player who launched the rocket and the one who contributed the most rocket modules each earn points. These points, combined with the number of crew members saved, will determine the ultimate winner at the end of the game.

The Team
We are Stefan, Katrin and Fabian,
three siblings united not only by our kin, but through our passion for board games.
As similar as our passion might be, our background is totally different. A mechanical engineer from Zurich, a motion design artist living in Munich and a marketing manager from Winterthur. Starting this project however, we found this to be the perfect constellation to develop, design and promote a boardgame. After almost 4 years of hard work, countless Skype calls, events, playtests and discussions, Rocket Rescue is about to become true.
As first-time board game creators and Kickstarter newbies we have been on quite a journey. We put our heart and souls into Rocket Rescue and are anxious to see how the final result will now resonate with the people. Our deepest gratitude to everyone who backs the project or supported us along the way!
STEFAN
Our brain behind the game mechanics and initiator of the whole project. Stefan studied mechanical engineering in Zurich and after some years of work experience in Canada he is now back in Zurich as Head of Mechanical Engineering for a company in the aviation industry. Besides his family, friends and badminton he spends every free minute with twisting the game mechanics of Rocket Rescue to ensure a perfect game experience and sealing every possible loophole.
FABIAN
The communication expert and voice of Rocket Rescue. After studying economics in Chur and a brief excursion into the sports event industry, Fabian is currently working as a Marketing Manager for a sports goods company somewhere in the eastern part of Switzerland. When finished with work and the daily sport routine, he is investing his time in social media, newsletters, campaigns, events, website and all the other existing channels.
KATRIN
The creative mind and visual soul of Rocket Rescue. Discovering her passion for the creative, Katrin studied 2D animation in Luzern. Finished with her studies, she moved to Munich to sharpen her skills at an advertising agency before switching to an educational science YouTube channel where she is currently animating awesome videos. Next to her regular football and flag football sessions her duty is the creation of colorful Rocket Rescue artwork and design.
