Rolling Tactics: Scales of Peace is a tactical solo and cooperative roll-and-write game for 1–100 players. Lead your units to victory across varied battlefields, where terrain, objectives, and items shape every decision. Experience SRPG-inspired gameplay in a narrative 3-scenario campaign, or take on 3 challenging one-off skirmishes (included only in the Master Tactician pledge).
Each scenario and skirmish is contained on a single sheet of paper, with no crafting required. All you need to provide is 1 pen per player and 1 standard 6-sided die to play the game.
Before heading into battle, you must first allocate Power to your weapons.
Each turn, you activate all your Player Units (letters A–F), with each unit moving and taking one action (attacking or healing, depending on its Weapon Type).
You then roll a die to resolve an Event.
You end the turn by activating all Enemy Units (numbers 1–6), which move automatically according to the previous die roll and their Movement Compasses.
Complete Objectives to gain an advantage in battle and wound all Enemy Units before they wound all of yours!

Introduction: Since time immemorial, elemental dragons have dwelled above the clouds, serving as both guardians and judges of the kingdoms below. They protect their lands from danger, yet restrain their own people just as fiercely. Should a ruler turn weapons against another kingdom, the dragon's wrath strikes inward as swiftly as it would against any outside foe. With this balance of power, war faded into legend.
You are trained peacekeepers of the Kingdom of Glaneor, tasked with resolving small conflicts before a dragon's intervention becomes necessary. Today, however, you are off duty, visiting a small village in the Kingdom of Ignustra to witness a ritual of trust. Once every few years, a dragon descends from the clouds to entrust the kingdom below with one of its eggs. The people of the kingdom then care for it until the young dragon hatches, after which a parent dragon returns to welcome it back. Word reached you the moment the eggshell began to crack, and you hurried to arrive in time.
The celebration reaches its peak as a fire dragon descends from the clouds. Cheers erupt, but suddenly turn to screams as flames blaze through the village and people flee in all directions. The dragon turns sharply toward a nearby shrine. It doesn't take long for an angry mob to gather, blaming the dragon for the fire and declaring that these creatures can no longer be trusted.
Moments before the fire, Milas noticed a lone figure moving through the village, with a torch in hand and their face hidden. Certain that the dragons would never threaten the peace they protect, you take up the chase. But before you can act, the village peacekeepers block your path. To them, you are foreign troublemakers taking advantage of the chaos. Your words fail to convince them. You have no choice but to fight your way through to uncover the truth...
